Godzilla x Kong - The Monsters of Mid 

Even if they did release so close together, that's doesn't mean they are comparable. One is reminiscent of the first film, and the other is reminiscent of the fun moments of the Showa era. These are not the same, just because they both star Godzilla does not mean they are comparable.

I mate saw it and said it was terrible in the best possible way, or something like that. I can't summon the enthusiasm myself.

Glad we have the same taste in movies but don't review them the same. Gotta upload mine now. God this movie was dumb, but I loved it haha. Felt like Godzilla meets a live action Dragonball Z episode. When Kong did a Loki with the mini ape the entire theater erupted lol. I've always wondered wtf it would look like if Godzilla did a suplex to King Kong, now I know :)

Ah yes, The monkey you used as a flail doesn't like you. Shocking lol. I wonder if they chose pink glow for godzilla to be different from Minus One. Whatever the reason it looks pretty weird. Like my little sister got ahold of my action figure and put pink glitter on it. The feel I get from this movie is mid. The kind of movie where there are a few things to enjoy as long as you overlook the other things it does wrong. The kind of movie you put on when your doing something else and only really pay full attention to when the big monsters go brrrr. Probably won't watch it any time soon if ever, but thanks for the review. ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ

This movie minus the annoying amount of exposition dumps had some really well done screen time with King Kong and...a few with Godzilla I guess, he got the short end of the stick, so much non verbal communication I'm convinced they could do a movie without humans. Think of Well-E's first chunk of the movie before the fat humans. I really enjoyed the battles and I am disappointed by the off screen fights, this isn't a low budget tv series ffs. Such a missed opportunity, they should have removed 1/2 of the humans screen time to include those monster battles.

This movie seems to require hoards about idiots to defend it, they just see godzilla doing fucking anything just go "neurone activation, me like" like this movie is dump and stupid and has some fun bits and I won't fault people for having fun with it but I've seen way too many fans going 10/10 best ever it's so well written, it's like bro do you watch anything else?

It's nice to see a meh film for a change. The rest of the films are just crap.
