Very sorry to see this trend by the networks creating new streaming networks that cost extra over what we're already paying extra to see on cable. As much as I love ya' Alton, I won't be paying for Discovery+.
I have Good Eats The Early Years, I'm Just Here For The Food, and I'm Just Here For More Food. They are amazing and I have had them for so long. I have made the mac and cheese and chocolate chip cookies recipe at least over 100 times each. I have learned so much that improved my cooking that I just have to say thank you. You have made my life so much more easy and enjoyable through all of your work.
I literally just got done watching your Houdini watch collection. I'm excited to see your show coming back. I can't wait to see what's on the wrist through the episodes.
@@travisleach5916 I get it! It's like Netflix and Disney... Disney is slowing pulling all their movies and only putting them on theirs... and now paramount and others are all doing the same:/
Yep, already paying my tithe via cable, why should I pay again? I've already started adjusting my viewing habits to watch less Discovery content. I'll get through these DT's and move on.
Honestly, after the gut punch of 2020 the Discovery family of networks had to go and take all the new programming, especially the really popular shows like Good Eats, and lock them up on a new streaming service? 😣🥺 Not AB's choice I'm guessing, but still frustrating and sad.
So excited for Good Eats: The Return; so sad I don't have Discovery+. I left cable for streaming to save $$$ and get to watch what I'm most interested in; but, all these streaming services are quickly adding up. Love me some QQ also.
Alton Brown is the ONLY reason I now have Discovery+! I started binge watching from the very beginning! My husband is tired of hearing me say, "Gosh, this is my favorite show!". So excited to get to watch the older seasons all over again and I can't wait to get to the new content soon! :)
You quarantine well! BTW, you always have been, and always will be, my cooking superhero! Been watching you (in a non-stalking sorta way- as in yer show) since the beginning. Keep doing that thing you do! Which is this thing.
Hey, Alton! So looking forward to the new series! Also, I was hopeful for a new series. If I may, a series where you feature a cocktail. You can teach us all about it and demonstrate crafting one. They can be short and sweet videos, too. Great filler in betwixt the longer form content. Thanks for considering!
Hey Alton! Our baking laboratory sometimes uses your old Food Network videos as a reference and I thought that you didn't shoot videos anymore. Even if I'm just a new fan I'm glad you're doing well and still shooting these quirky and informative videos!
I imagine a lot of it was actually filmed before the pandemic proper. Not all, of course. There's a hint to 2020 and "doing puzzles" in there. They've been teasing this was happening for some time. Likely we would have seen it sooner but all the post-production was done in a work-from-home/Zoom environment. But, I don't know. 😕 Just speculating.
Definitely a gelatin epsiode. Maybe a bone marrow one as well but that could just have been a skit about the history of gelatin. Also I always knew Alton was really The Doctor. The bizarre speech patterns. The questionable fashion sense. The strange "friends" who accompany him on his "adventures" through "time and space." Now we have him angering/entering into a romance with a British monarch. What more proof do we need? (oh and there is that poorly camouflaged Type 44 TT capsule)
A.B I love you and your show unfortunately my provider has cooking channel on another tier with the sports channels 😱 and I refuse to subscribe to another service. I guess I still have RU-vid
@Noone Special If you add up your costs for decent internet service, and all the streaming services you want its more then you would pay for a cable TV package.
