I'd give Bilal a B+ soley because of not only being a reliable 2 way guard out the gate but also a monster of a shotblocker on the perimeter and at the rim being one of the leaders amongst rookies in stocks. That and he gets infrequent minutes due to Coach Unseld being braindead

Cason Wallace is a beast he plays like a guy who is in his second year of the NBA with how smart and efficient he is. OKC basketball is so fun to watch.

You have to value shooting, amen got drafted bc he's a 6'7 point guard. Great, he has size and can grab you rebounds but he's a liability ATM bc his shooting % resembles that of a center in the 90s

There is no way Anthony Black deserves the same rating as Scoot and Hendricks. He has been far better and has been a great fit for the magic. A lot of the things we does well like IQ and on ball defending don’t show up on the stat sheet.

The Amen Thompson grade isn’t too fair considering Udoka doesn’t includes him in the rotation

A little biased here but I think the Anthony Black grade was a little harsh. He came into a situation where he was likely going to ride the bench with 3-4 guards ahead of him in the lineup, but due to injury, he's played major minutes. At 19 years old, he's been one of the best defenders on the team, shot a much better than expected 36% from 3, and found ways to be effective despite none of the offense being run through him. Counting stats don't impress, but from someone who has watched him all season, I'd give him at least a B.

Amen definitely isnt a fair grade, out of the first 5 pick only Houston is attempting to make it to playoff so the rookies doesn't get much time

Amen getting that low of a grade because the Rockets have a ton of depth, his time will come when they need him. Averaging 6 ppg as a rookie coming off the bench isn’t the worst thing.

the grade for amen is crazy considering ausar is a B. theres not a single thing ausar does better than amen. amen is behind fred van vleet who makes 40 million a year and he’s a rookie point guard on a near .500 team. ausar is on the worst team in the league and can barely find minutes there. amen has looked really good in his limited minutes (which are positive!) on both sides of the ball. i think amen should be a B and ausar should be a C. he should definitely be graded above scoot

Derek lively should be a A+. Dallas is becoming lob city now, Scoot should be a B-. We had understood that he didn’t have the best jump shot in the ignite. 41% from the field and 28% from three. And while the stats say he could be bad. Scoot is a decent defender and highly athletic and also worked on his shot. People say he is a bad shooter but when you watched one of the Bucks at Blazers where the blazers had won 119-116 you he had 15 points and 6 assists on good shooting.

Where would Jaquez go in a redfraft? He's an older prospect, but he's been the 2nd best player from this draft by a mile...

I am sorry, but Scoot has been terrible. 39% from 2, 29% from 3, with 5 TOs and 5 fouls per 100 possessions is next level terrible. Over the past 20 years of lottery picks there have been only 2 other guys who put up numbers like that in their rookie year. Jared Bayless and Killian Hayes. His net rating of -30 is legendary. He has no left hand, can't defend, and is at best an okay athlete. Sure he is getting better recently, but that is not hard to do. Also I do not care how long his arms are, he is undersized and it is hurting him.

With all the hype around this class it's a let down. Wimbey is crazy good but the Thompson twins and Scoot are flat with games that are seriously not ready for the NBA. The rookies who came out of the G-league are 2 full steps behind the college guys and it's pretty clear that taking the cash with the Ignite is a very bad developmental choice. They aren't made to fight for minutes and they are not coached by elite coaches who can help mold their game and teach them to play in a system that benefits them. They last few drafts that have the G-league guys picked have all been bust or very close to it. Houston has 2 top 5 picks from the Ignite and so far they aren't anywhere near as good as advertised. The Magic made 2 bad picks in this draft and even though they are playing good they really need to make a couple trades if they want to actually make a playoff run. They have a couple stars and a deep bench but they need some more help in the low post and rim protection Wendell Carter ain't going to cut it and if they are going to keep a good record and keep winning trades must be made. The Hornets made the right pick in Miller and I think in the next couple years he will grow into a 22 to 25 points per game average on the wing and they can build around Miller and Ball they need to trade Terry Rozier because he doesn't fit their time line and they could get some younger guys or picks for him. I think Rozier would be a great fit on the Lakers, Grizzlies, Pacers, or Mavericks and they could get him for a reasonable price. Sacramento Kings are also a good team but they are not a complete team and they need help. I'm glad they didn't make the Siakam/Raptors trade because they don't need 2 Sabonis's and that what they would have had they traded for Siakam. The 76ers need to get help for Embiid and Maxey but there aren't a lot players available right now. There has to be a few more big trades out there because there are so many teams that are in serious need.

Scoot should have a minus on his 'C'. Dude looks okay at times but he has some of the lowest EVER advanced stats for a lottery pick. Can't attack in general and high turnovers, even for a 19 year old. I'm talking Anthony Bennett, Darko, and Adam Morrison level type advanced stats. Killian Hayes and Jerry Bayless (similar inconsistent shooters with PG skills) also had similar metrics.
