Guys if you watch 5-10 of these videos you will improve your score significantly! I hadn’t taken my asvab in 4 years and wanted to up my General Score to at least 72 for retraining. My score was 64 4 years ago. I hadn’t touched math since then until 2 weeks ago when I started watching these. Retook my ASVAB today and my General was 85! Thank you!!!!
@@carlosdeleon9547 youll pass it no matter what. Im 28 going over this again and i took the practice test at the rec office and made a 49 then took another one the next day and made a 20.. lol as long as you make over a 30 youll make it in
Alright guys, if you are looking at the comments wondering "is this the place I have been looking for to study for the ASVAB/AFCT?" I can promise you it is. I scored a 43 AFQT and a 103 GT score back in 2015. I simply went through every single video in this playlist up to about 37 and then went back and did the longer videos for a second or third time. I did every single practice test on his website as well and I am proud to say that I scored a 90 AFQT with a 124 GT score. I did this over the course of a month while balancing studying for the OAR as well and keeping up with my Masters degree requirements. Guys, it is as simple as going through each of these videos and not letting yourself progress until you fully understand a question. Thank you Grammar Hero!
Thanks Grammer Hero! Just finished my ASVAB and scored a 59! Going Air Force National Guard. I’ve studied your page and a lot of what you said is on the ASVAB. Folks, you will not go wrong if you study Grammer Hero!
@@GrammarHeroi am having a hard time understanding how your getting these answers is there any tip you can offer me I keep scoring like 11 on test and 14 I need a 16 to be able to join army and I’m super stressed out
It’s good to see you posting again man I used to stay up all night studying to fail the test Lmaoo but I’m at it again and about to use your videos again I was all over the place the last time
Hey I just want to say THANK YOU!!!!! I watched and learned so much from you I seriously appreciate all the help. I dropped out of high school in 9th grade and even though I got my ged (over a decade ago) I still don’t know a lot of this! You helped me go from a 16 to a 70!!! I’m so happy! Thanks again!
I started off not doing very well. I haven’t done math a long time. 20 minutes in and I’ve learned more than I did in high school. Thank you so much for posting this video. I want this opportunity bad and I’m gonna exceed past my limits to get this done💪
I just wanted to say thank you…I studied your material for 2 1/2 months and just enlisted yesterday. Without you my score would be loooow. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
@@OneCooLguY-iq5zp Awesome and congrats! So how was the math on it though?? I went from a 16 to a 49 today on my practice test that I took at my recruiters office, so I'm not sure if that's a good score..
Hey grammar hero. I am actually am feeling good and decently confident on math sections, I even did well on practice test on math knowledge but I struggle so much on arithmetic reasoning. I noticed that I struggled understanding the questions sometimes and write them in to a equation. Watching this video, when you wrote the equation, I solved it myself just fine and thought “it’s that simple” but I still struggle to even just start for the questions. Any tips?
If you work through enough of them, you'll see that you really only use a handful of different techniques to solve arithmetic reasoning problems. The more you practice, the better you'll get. Good luck!
@@GrammarHero hey grammar hero thank you so much for replying! Another question, I notice your practice test on asvabapp is a lot more difficult then the one I took at Air Force practice test and this video. I have been averaging around 34-40 ish, on your practice test website’s. In the span of a week or 2, what do you suggest for me to study effectively. I plan to get at least 60 above AFQT (Line score General) cause I wanna be qualified for medical categories at most. I also plan on donating for you after I take the asvab. Thank you so much for all of this for free, u really are a hero.
Good luck! Please make sure to watch my "Shorts," too, since those are typically easier practice test questions, and they can make the difference between passing and failing.
Are the questions on the ASVAB this challenging? Because the practice test's from the mobile app's or online resources im studying from are easier than this material, and that makes me a bit nervous. I do like this material, however, it takes me a bit longer to solve or my average is a bit lower
If you work through my shorts videos, you'll get a good feel for the test! The better you do, the harder it gets, since it is a computer-adaptive test!
Hello Sir, I’m currently sitting at a score of 24 I’ve took it 3 times and I got a 9 then went to a 24 both of the other times I took it stayed at abt the same avg score 24 I do well on some of the math and reading and vocab but not good on a lot of the math and arithmetic, CAN You please give me some tips on what to study on your channel for the next two weeks before I retest again so I can pass
Math Boot Camp playlist: ru-vid.com/group/PLhlU-GzAQeG2ete7N8QjR2dDN_CaIH67z Shorts videos: www.youtube.com/@GrammarHero/shorts In those videos, there are links to other my videos that you should review as needed.
@@GrammarHero the results are so consistent with all ASVAB practice tests I take. I took three to four tests from their original practice books of the 3rd and 4rth edition and scored above 99 in all of the tests.
The AFOQT has more sections, and it is generally taken by college graduates exclusively, whereas anyone with a good high school education can easily ace the ASVAB. I would buy a study guide for the AFOQT from Amazon or Barnes and Noble. Will these videos help? For some of the sections, they should, not all of them.
Would you recommend watching this series over the basic math. I have 3 weeks and I don’t know I should watch this one or the basic math because I don’t remember how to do fractions and all that
@@GrammarHero I’ll just watch your basic math series then come back to this series, once I refreshed my mind on basic math. I’m just stressing because I’m terrible at math. Anyways thank you for the help.
Since I'm not a recruiter, I really can't give the most up-to-date answer to your question. That said, @TEAMSWARTZ is a Army National Guard Recruiter here on RU-vid, and if you catch one his live streams, I'm sure he'll answer it for you. Otherwise, you can pick up the phone and call a recruiter! Here is Team Swartz's RU-vid channel, in case the tag didn't work: www.youtube.com/@TEAMSWARTZ Army Recruiting Phone #: 1-888-550-ARMY (2769)
Hey man i love your videos i asked my recruiter to give me 2 more weeks before i take my asvab so i can sharpen up my math. I wanted to ask can you make a more in depths video on basic algebra
Hi, I take my ASVAB on May 1st and I’ve been studying really hard for the past 2.5 weeks😅 just finished this practice test & I only got 4 questions wrong out of the 76. I’m really hoping I do well 🙏🙏🙏
@@Lovelytranhey congrats, when studying grammar hero’s boot camp vids, did you just follow along with the practice test and work out the problems on your own as he did them I’m just trying to make sure I’m studying this material the right way!?
@@treywave-cp4ji Hi and thanks!! Yes I took all of the practice test on his website (it’s linked on his RU-vid) and watched the videos afterwards on how to solve them on the problems that I got wrong. I also watched the math videos on where he solves easy and then hard problems! Hope that helps and good luck!!
@@GrammarHero you’re amazing, man. After watching your videos from the basics to algebra I’m now watching videos on college algebra and I’ll continue my journey in mathematics. I always wanted to see what you mathematicians see and I’m getting there slowly but surely. I want the same eyes as you soon. Haha 🧠
Right now, I have about 400 shorts videos on my channel, and if you go through all of them, you'll notice I made 5 variations of each type of problem. The more you practice, the better you'll get. Good luck!
I need your help I’m really just tryna get a 50 so I can join the navy cause my high school diploma isn’t valid what are the main topics I should focus on please help
