I live in Switzerland and I finally got my hands onb some dried buttermilk powder. I made up a ranch dressing mix. Added some of it to Greek yogurt and a little milk. About a teaspoon of mayonnaise+ since chemotherapy summer the just don't taste good to me... If you are experiencing something similar it can be worth experimenting with dummy me tagged, if you can literally stomach don't do). It made such a deficit sauce. Served with a chopped mixed salad( those kitchen chopper gadgets that chop things into cubes are worth the hype). Served together with air fryer chicken goujons.... Fabulous.
Good, easy recipe packed with fresh-herb flavor. I'm looking for salad dressing recipes that have lots of flavor, but NO MAYO, because I can't stand that stuff. Nicely done.
I tried this recipe as is but I’m not a big fan of Greek Yogurt and so I tweaked it a bit the next time. I substituted cottage cheese for the Greek yogurt and left out the salt because cottage cheese is pretty high in sodium. I made it a couple of times with cottage cheese and think it’s perfect.
Hi there! You can use a dairy-free yogurt, or you can try blending 1 cup of raw cashews with about half a cup of water as a replacement. Hope that helps!
Sorry to hear it didn't turn out so great for you! If it's too runny, I'd suggest thickening it up with a bit more Greek yogurt until you find the right consistency. You may also want to increase the amount of herbs/greens you use. Hope that helps!
I also added an avocado because I use it to thicken smoothies. So you get healthy fats, and in the green goddess recipe the acid from the lemon will prevent it from turning brown. I didn’t have Greek-style yogurt the first time I made this, and the avocado worked perfectly!
