Thanks Dan and Ash! Great conversation! Thinking a lot about the daily waking up to the grief and the understanding of having to go another day with ME (the "backpack full of stones".) And how it can help to orient to getting through one day (one minute) at a time rather than looking at the "big picture." The small ways we try to find solace...That's great about the resource being created there to help people find ME/chronic illness competent/appropriate therapists.

I love these honest conversations. Recently I heard on a chronic pain podcast that sufferers wouldn't trade their pain for a normal life because they've grown and learned so much from it. I thought, "That's not me." Yes, we grow and learn, but I think most of us would still rather be free of our afflictions. We can grow and learn without suffering, too.
