Just received mine today. GTJ03-XM5 Pre-Mounted on the RIGID white wheel. I like a medium Tyre and stiff wheel. I tune with suspension. Anyway...mine came VERY well balanced. Both in hand and table top balance. Can't believe the quality for the money. Huge value!

these tires are nice yes. But the down side of them as for me is their positive offset. this this is an obstacle to some drivers unless you are going to use wheel extenders.

Great review what would be good for doing speed runs thanks 🙏🏾💯👍🏾

Thanks for watching! All of the tyres are good for speed runs. You just need to choose a compound to suit the track temperature. We used XM4/XM5 at the recent Velodrome event on a warm track. Some people used hard XM7 with high powered cars. The harder compounds may need to warm up before they get full traction.

im brand new to all this i am running a kyosho inferno neo 3 . bit the rc track we have is tarmac not off road so can you recommend a good trye that would be durable for my buggy .. loving the videos learning so much

Thank you for watching! The choice of tyre depends on the temperature of the track. A hotter track works best with hard compound rubber. If in doubt try something like XM5 compound srchy.hearnshobbies.com/?q=grp%20xm5

I have a Arrma stretched typhoon. Could anyone suggest the flex or rigid wheel? I think the xm3 is the best compound as we race in a parking lot.

Rigid wheel works best with heavy cars.

I have a Traxxas Fiesta Rally running 3s system from 40mph to 60mph for 99% street bashing...which compound do you recommend. I dont do speed runs and dont want 100% drift but i want my car to break loose when i wanna powerslide here and there but dont want the rear to fishtail easily on acceleration. Thank you

Most probably the softer option

For longer life slicks and 5 or 7? I'm in 60 to 90 degrees doing speedruns/street bashing

7 will last longer in the high temperature. I would suggest getting both so you have a choice to get the perfect traction window.

Which tire compound did you go with? And was it flex or rigid? I have an Infraction 6S I only drift, and I want it to break and slide but yet have grip and bite. Cooler weather is an issue now 55-65F and asphalt is not warm enough for the white Hoons.

which one last longer for bashing/drifting on street
@HearnsHobbiesMelbourne
@HearnsHobbiesMelbourne 2 года назад
The harder compounds will last longer but will have less grip until they warm up.

Should I go above xm4,?...I've picked up a set and they say max speed 110 kmh= (68mph)...I'm bashing and speed running
@HearnsHobbiesMelbourne

The hardness of the tyre compound depends on the surface temperature or grip level of the surface. In general, in cold conditions use a softer compound and a harder compound for warm and hot days. The more wheel spin, the more heat will be generated in the tyre.

Like any high performance tyre, GRPs need to be checked if they are tearing from the rim and re-glued as needed.

I have an Infraction 6S as well. Now I am concerned. Did you try another GRP tire like XM5 or XM4? Looking to buy something over the Hoons.
@HearnsHobbiesMelbourne
@HearnsHobbiesMelbourne Год назад
GRP tires are very good. However, as I have commented above, they need to be checked and glued before catastrophic failure occurs. 6S cars provide extreme power and anything will fail if pushed too hard. Lifespan is very dependent on how the vehicle is driven.
