GTA The Definitive Edition Unpatched! / Glitches, Bugs & Epic Fails 

I remember seeing the trailer for this in a Game and distinctly thinking “wow it looks like they didn’t even try.” How refreshing to see a trailer that is an accurate representation of the final experience.

Not that I want to kick a game while it's down but I love having these types of videos to act as a time capsule of what it was really like to play this without any updates

I always find falling through the bottom of the world in video games to be an especially unsettling experience

The remastered trilogy is the textbook definition of a cash grab.

I seem to remember that sometimes drivers would flip out if you hit them and pursue you endlessly even in the original versions. The games' version of these cities were terrible places to live and I guess these random NPCs had severe road rage. ...The extra circling is new, though.

I actually thought: "They should have used the PC version. That one's even worse." Then I realised that port was so broken it didn't even launch!

I downloaded the trilogy day one on my Series X and thought to myself “Well, that’s two steps backward”

God between this and Cyberpunk, people really need to focus on making an actually playable game.

Fun fact: The same developers behind the equally loathed San Andreas Remaster several years ago developed the GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition!

reminds me of an incident that was quoted on an online comic: someone at E3 was touting his company's newest game, and a reporter straight up asked him, "will it work?" standards for games are SO low that this was a LEGITIMATE question. i mean, imagine a car company selling cars that wouldn't even START.

As to be expected by the "Worst Ever" and "Just Bad Games" series, great video! That "got rain?" line got me every time.

Do this more please. This is definitely important I think, knowing what a game is like without the patches and whatnot, how people had to deal with stuff on launch or how people have to deal with it if they don't have internet.

These clips are giving me unintended nostalgia, they look like early 3D point and click adventure games like the first 3D monkey Island...

There's a reason why people wanted updates, not remakes. Some games should be left alone..

I just wanna mention that aggressive drivers isn't something Definitive Edition added or bugged, it's just how it is in GTA:SA... could Grove Street do something so they wouldn't endlessly follow your car or at least if you exit the car they would exit too and engage in hand-to-hand combat? They could've, but they didn't. Floating corpses also thing that happened a lot last time that i replayed SA, but it's nice to see them come back in "Definitive Edition", _how could we enjoy the game without floating corpses? It's integral part of the game_

This really feels like they just took the old codes for the game, made sure its compatible with the latest systems while putting in as little work as possible, then slapping an updated texture pack for all the additional polygons and called it a day.

Playing San Andreas right now...it's playable..but damn. Hit detection, low lighting, random explosions every 5 minutes lol its hilarious

Yes I was hoping to see a rerez video about the bad remaster games.

This game feels like that snowman from Drawn together.

Here's a weird thing I noticed. The aggressive car glitch at 5:16 is acting just like the bug that happens with bears in "Red Dead Redemption 2". Sometimes they will glitch when you toss down a tied up NPC and will endlessly run circles around them. So it's odd this glitch somehow is happening in this terrible D.E. version of the trilogy (which are just poorly done mobile ports).

Fun fact, Rerez & Rerez fans: Matt McMuscles mentioned Shane Luis in the "What Happun?" episode on the GTA: The Definitive Edition today. Shane, you might be pleased when you see it.

By definitive edition they actually mean butchered edition, the edition begging to be put out of its misery, the edition that has been sliced and diced to the point it's only the original because of the name

At 03:46, the guys in the sedans are meant to be standing through the sunroof while they are shooting at you. It looks pretty much like that in the original Vice City too. It does seem like a clipping issue like all the others, but it's meant to be like that (even though it should have been animated better).

This a new series or just casual play sessions? Must say, I enjoyed it

The originals were some of my favorite games ever made and I've spent hundreds of hours on each of them. I run my own retro game business and anytime I get any of these in and pop them in to test them I get stuck for sometimes hours playing them so you have to expect I was excited to hear they were being remastered.... Until I heard about the bugs so I didn't buy them... THEN they were split up and some put on Xbox game pass and others on playstation now (I don't remember which was on which) so I was HYPED to get to play them.... These games that I can't even test for less than 20 mins before reselling let me down so much that I quit playing each after mere minutes of playing and have never gone back to retry them. Rockstar really let me down with these. I was hoping for so much more.
