I would love to see more info in the videos about the logistics of going to a drift events like what do you bring, what is the preparation, do you go in a single car etc. :)
Man you are living my dream, I’m heading to japan for the first time in 2 days. Been working towards this for like 10 years now. I bought an is200 to daily and drift and went to my first drift evening at Archerfield like 6 months ago. Recently been having front suspension issues that I’ve tried to fix but to no avail. Pain in the ass but l also use the IS to deliver pizza in so finding time between is difficult. Keep up the amazing work man you are my inspiration. Absolutely fantastic in everything you do!
@@World_Premier honestly it was fantastic. Tokyo was next level. Every day I saw a unique car. The little kei trucks and cars are also awesome to look at and admire. Tried to cram too much in too little time so didn’t get to see everything I wanted to. If you want to go to a track, I’d get an international license and hire a car for a day or too, otherwise it’s like 4 hours by public transport then still have to taxi the rest of the way and the same back. Tokyo was really westernised is the only way I could describe it. It’s still foreign but felt more friendly and homely. Could easily spend weeks there and still not see everything. Osaka and Kyoto were cool aswell however it felt off in my opinion and I couldn’t put my finger on why. Still amazing and beautiful in every way just had that lingering feeling. Definitely 10/10 place to visit. It’s extremely picturesque.
Been watching your videos from the very early days. Just wanted to say keep it up man! The channel has just kept up a good pace with the same style, your Just being yourself and comfortable which is the best way to be!
That safe reminded me of old night Touge videos from back in the day, I had a chilling feeling along my spine as someone who dealt with similar situations in RL. You can never stay calm watching this.
I honestly didn't know Gunsai was available for drift track days, so that is extremely cool - legal touge! Good on Casey for hooking you up, he really is super legit IMHO. Don't sweat the tune just yet - yeah it needs a bit more response, but it looks like stacks of fun. Finally, these extended width clip on rear view mirrors are awesome. I totally recommend them, especially if you car has a high belt line or awful blind spots, they make so much difference to seeing what's going on behind you. Alexi, thanks so much for another cracking video!
Quality video as always. Good to see some more chilled event stuff. I spotted the rough looking Laurel outside a shop called b.p.t factory garage Daikokuya when I was in Japan with some friends in January. Awesome to see it on a video.
Seems like an Awsome event, Was watching this seeing how far Casey has come, I remember when you opened a package from him on mail time like 2016/17? crazy how time flys!
Amazing content, man. I missed out on an opportunity to grab myself a nice JDM project car while living in Okinawa for 4 years. Ended up just grabbing an ‘05 Altezza for my daily commute. 😂 Still loved my time in Japan and hope to find myself back there one day. For now, living vicariously through your videos works well! 👏
Thanks for featuring the toyota platz at 6:55. I have been wondering what that thing is ever since juicebox filmed the car in nikko at their japan in a van trip.
Gunsai is great, I like that "legal" street feel it gives the drivers. I've watched another driver barrel down this track and from the helm cam view u guys show, it looks like u guys are drifting thru there at 100mph. C35s are priced at what JZXs were a bit over 10 years ago. The youtubers haven't got ahold of yet, so the price hasn't inflated lol. I love the agle strusse wheels! I'm still patiently waiting for Garage Mak to do S14 things. They have S13 & 15s, skipped right over the GOAT S chassis. Just go faster, Alexi, just go faster lol S/o Casey and Naoki's SR sounds the rowdiest. Solid save, Alexi! B course just wasn't feeling it today! ALSO YOU said the S15 would be a low & loud, cool street car! You're surely taking your time getting it there.
dude my dream is to be this guy right here he just goes to random events that just seem fun to him and he acts like a professional and drives like one but in reality his only thing is that he wants to have fun and he learns as he drives i fricken love the vibe with you noriyaro its just too good to miss out i hope to be as good or even better of a driver it never hurts to dream big huh? ill learn one day by watching your old dvds and stuff and reading magazines while i learn how to drive i know how to but i can definitely be better anyway lots of love from the middle of missouri!
