Anton, your dedication to this game is inspiring. The years of love and hard work you've poured into H3 is definitely apparent. I do software engineering professionally, but I've had a very difficult time keeping myself going when attempting to make my own games. I like putting tracers into my magazines to show me how many bullets are left, say the 6th last bullet is a tracer, so I know I have 5 more. Now I know why it's easy to miss tracers if you don't have a silencer on (tbf who uses a silencer AND tracers?). Thanks for sharing this, looking forward to having surprise color tracers :)
Just wanted to chime in and say thank you so much for the pride flag tracer colors! I've been playing H3 since long before I ever realized I was trans, and while I didn't make too much noise since I'm kinda shy, I left quite a few comments in here a lot while I was still presenting as male and had no idea who I was. And as someone who is going back to school to learn programming so I can hopefully make video games myself some day soon, I've always admired you for the work you put into this game and how open you are with the game's community. Seeing you add that to the game for pride month, even though it's a small feature in the grand scheme, still really made my day to see because it was a vocal show of support for me and my community from someone I truly admire. Especially in a time like right now where I've been dealing with such incessant hate from every corner of the internet I look into. So genuinely, thank you so much for making my day Anton! 🩷☺️ ~Maddy
Seeing the pride colors in the tracer options made me very happy too! Sadly, any kinda gun content is gonna attract some unsavory folk, so I understand why he didn't mention them.

Can you update the flintlock guns next? A socket bayonet that lowers accuracy while attached to the brown Bess would be pretty cool, and the thicker end of the ramrod should be the side you use to ram the cartridge down.
So since I keep bloom disabled in my settings, these won't work? For example due to this the flames in game look white to me, instead of yellow, so I take these will have the same outcome using the same trick, right?

idea: have a chance for a rocket launcher round to be a dud (at least momentarily, a delayed explosion would be neat) and, if hitting a sosig, to go into it like in blackhawk down
I didn't pick any flags that have black as a color in them, as these are emissive objects. I can't make a black tracer, nor can I make a middle grey one.
@AntonHand that makes a lot more sense why you added the genderqueer flag instead of nombinary. I didn't even think of black not working, I guess the only option would be to just have one bullet that doesn't have a tracer, but that's less appealing.
Is there the ability to run any machine gun without tracers? It bugs me that the heavy caliber stuff has a red tracer by default. I could be missing something.
