@@NotGarrettG and no sht she does it every time she sings, thats what this person legit said. how it makes her unique. some peoples children really shoulda been swallowed
No one is gonna talk about the guitarist, playing in chilling way. < thanks for the 6.6 k likes , I never thought I'll get this much likes ❤> Peace out
@@nocybasejari1740 Bruh we know, it's called a sample. Nick Mira used the sample without asking, and it resulted in 85% of the song being Sting's. Juice didn't care about it anyways though. Sting even called Lucid Dreams to be the best song using his sample. Even if it uses the Shape of My Heart sample, it's still a great song.
@@korazonbtw Well...using samples and not looking for original What makes me kinda feel bad is that people never check the original and the old stuff and classics Which are great and better than 70% of this modern rap shit; except for rap legends like Eminem and you know the rest....but definitely not like 6ix9ine Music from the 90s and 80s and 2000s as well are great but if you tell a young 12 yr old salty fucker...he'd tell you to fuck off I'm saying this because I am more into instrumental music
absolutely lit perfect tone, voice and speed for this song !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Emotions raise another bar with her !!! playing this very loud on a system is mind blown !!!
i think it’s kind of just her sound? her sound is always a little mellow and heartbroken. also the instrumental is much more mellow in this, less electronic.
She did change the lyrics from "who knew evil girls had the prettiest face" to "boys" while usually she keeps the original wording, her being bi and all (not saying that's the main reason but could be). And also the "You gave me a heart that was full of mistakes" to "I gave you" and "I gave you my heart and you made heart break" to "You gave me your heart". If it's intentionally, perhaps she did have someone in mind.
I'm a pretty open minded person when it comes to art and culture but for some reason when it came to this song, I felt like, "No, I don't want to hear any other version of this, I love it as it is." So, I first clicked on this thinking I'll not like it as much almost making myself believe that it couldn't be better. But now I'm leaving being complete awestruck and amazed of how much well performed this was. This somehow felt emotional, raw and satisfying, it felt like a mourn and yearning. Without thinking much it made me more.. I don't know how else to say this but calling it pseudobulber affect in a positive way. It was really a beautiful experience.
Rachel Turner yeah and doing it like rhat isn’t professional nor good at all lmao shes trying soo hard on such a aveage song. Like anyone can sing this with minimal effort. Without moving there jaws like that haha id understand if it was a complex song with tons of ranges but this? Lmao
Hiley Moon why you creeping all over the comments just to talk about how her jaw irritates you? Move on if you don’t like it, it’s not supposed to be some huge beautiful production.
Can we just appreciate how much she was really feeling this song how her face shows she battling some stuff and how the guitar player is just so magicly playing and how the combo is so fire 🔥
Maybe it's just me but I find it a little irritating that half the comments are about James Charles and Halsey's jaw. Like.. come on, guys. This cover is phenomenal. I'm someone who didn't even care for the original, but I could listen to this cover for days on end. Enjoy the music and Halsey's drop-dead gorgeous voice
@@TS-us9wx the ones throughout the video. She pops open her mouth constantly to make her vowels really stand out. It sounds good, but it does kinda look like how he described.
@@missh1tsu He or she meant to say, the featured singer on this video didn't write the song and yet coming from her heart, what if she wrote it?!!!!! It's either you or him/her misunderstood as English isn't the first language for one of you, maybe both.
