All Hank needs is a guitar and a stool he doesnt need a band and he can hold the crowd in the palm of his hand for hours not to many country singers can do that hank jr is a dying breed there will never be another one like him i just seen him 2 weeks ago at the delaware state fair and it was one of the best concerts i have ever been to a 73 old man sold out and it was all young people teenagers and they knew every word to his songs
I seen Hean Jr. five x's in concert and one time I see him with Jo Dee Messina, the Charlie Daniels Band, Travis Tritt and of course Hank Jr. I literally stood less than 10 feet from Hank (had front row seats) it was of the Best experience in my lifetime. Seeing all of those popular bands with Hank Jr. thrown in the mix...How could you not love that ?!
He dose sound like his dad as far as vibrato there two different range voice hank junior is closer to a baritone to where hank sr was a tenor and hank junior was a badass before he was a musician
By 1984 I had ten albums ( seen him in Huntington wva) as Waylon said Hank Jr is greatest blues singer and player in the world (elite) in all areas of music
He can do a hell of a lot better than this. I know I've been to several of his concerts. Glad I wasn't at this one. Come on Hank what's happened to you? Don't even sound or act like the Hank I used to go see. Don't fail us Hank there's too many of us out here that still love the Bocephus of 70's, 80's, and 90's!
Hank sure hasn't changed in the last 25 or 30 years since I saw him in concert last. He just basically ruins every song he sings. What a waste. Ill stick to his cds
