Yay, you climbed Mt. Ajo! That’s such a gorgeous hike, one of Arizona’s best in my opinion! When we were at the summit, it was so windy we had to hide in a crevice to eat our snacks before heading down. 🥹 Loved your comments on the year past and the year to come, and the photos of all your 2023 adventures. You are my hero’s. I just found your channel-perfect for the start of 2024. I love getting out there and hiking, fishing. Bought a teardrop in 2020 and have put some miles on it. It’s just me and my furry friends. Some of which backpack others have to stay behind. I followed a lot of folks on RU-vid but they’re all young and it’s great to see someone closer to my age. This year is special it’s the year of turning 70 and I’m set for some big adventures. Looking forward to following your adventures and being inspired.

The border crossing at Lukeville, near Organ Pipe, has been closed for a bit. That has probably reduced the numbers of people in the area, since one can't get down to Rocky Point through there right now.

We hiked shorter hikes at Pictured Rocks this September from the trailhead and back. You inspire me to do longer hikes. There is a 10 mile loop we will train for and do next Fall. I walk 2-3 miles a day at home, so will increase in training. Thank you for inspiring us to get out there. I’m 66, with two knee replacements and love to hike in the woods!

I love your inspiration. Hiking is my favorite thing to day and after many year I finally retired, day two I tripped over a dog while hiking and badly broke my wrist, but I won’t let it stop me, never use to fall but now as a seasoned sister, it seems as though it happens a little easier….any tips? I am doing the Camino March 14th starting at Pamplona , It's Dixie's fault, lol. since your back down in the same area as we all were during Covid. Have you 2 considered doing the Camino France?
