Harrison Ford talks to CNN's Chris Wallace about wrapping up the "Indiana Jones" saga with "Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny" and some of his most iconic movie roles. #harrisonford #CNN #chriswallace
Harrison Ford is a rare find... Possibly more rare than any of the finds of his fictional character Indiana Jones. He is a real innovator, a gifted and talented passionate, unrecognised director and actor which is why he brings so much atmosphere and explanation to his characters whilst still remaining enagmatic and mysterious, a true star what a legend!
Enjoyed the interview with Harrison Ford. He is an outstanding actor. Brings precision and humility to his characters. I only wish the interview was longer. Bravo!
He always lights up when asked seriously about filmmaking, he has a really clear view of how it should be approached. The passion is all there. The grumpiness is more with entertainment reporters asking the same questions a million times.
I take it you haven't seen the RU-vid reviews yet. The old Indy has some people rattled. As for me, I haven't seen it because I was too sad thinking about how good it woulda been had they just once given us a scene with Indy and Short Round. I felt the same way about the last one, and it was just The Shia Show, which I didn't really like much, so I skipped this one. That said, some of the reviews are downright brutal.
@ZeroOskul Harrison Ford is a living legend who will forever be remembered long after he's gone whereas you're just a nameless faceless troll who's never amounted to much.
All the movie stars are demon people, Hollywood is all serpents posing as human gutting humanity from the inside. Brainwashing the population with repetitive textbook brainwashing tactics to mold the population into the harsh existence of the serpent bloodline. Harvesting souls away from Christ. Thats what it really is
Highly respectable, talented, gifted and absolute brilliant gentleman Harrison Ford is, with works of golden movies. May his legacy as Indiana Jones live forever...really wished they had brought back short round!😄💙🔥👊👍💯
He does look good. And his mind is intact. He seems to have treated his own body and mind with respect, so that his body and mind continue to function for him and support him. Let's face it. He seems like the kind of person we would each enjoy meeting.
@@Gaminglife-sf1oz Calista probably helps him stay young. Harrison is seven years older than me, but his brain synapses are firing as well or better than mine.

An iconic actor who has been able to bring so much joy to so many people worldwide for over 40 plus years. Thank you for your talent and thanks to Steven Spielberg and George Lucas for casting you as Han Solo and Indiana Jones. Also loved you in Air Force One, and so many other movies too many to mention.
For me, I can't really think of a bad film that Harrison Ford has made. He's probably very picky when he reads the scripts and then I think he brings his own acting gravitas to the roles. I can't think of another actor who has that success ratio over so many decades.
This is a really good interview. Harrison Ford isn't so cranky in it. Saw "Raiders of the Lost Ark" back in 1981 eleven times in the summer. Remains my all-time favorite movie.
Just got back from Indy 5. It was good seeing the Hat in action one last time. Im very grateful you did another movie Mr. Ford. Thank you for being such an important part of my childhood and now adulthood. Much love and God Bless ❤️
A great actor. Knows how to live his character to fruition on screen. He doesn't just thrive in action scenes, but also drama. People don't appreciate enough his passion for the roles he plays
Mr. Ford, you’ll probably never read this, but I just want to say thank you. Thank you for making me feel the way I did walking out of the theater with the credits rolling and the music playing and feeling like all the wonderful characters you played.
Wouldn't it be great if you could live with those memories up to "Last Crusade" instead of experiencing the deconstruction and reconstitution of what was once a legend? It *used to* make sense that Indy's hat sits in the Smithsonian because he had been--now a has been--a truly legendary icon. Now it's tainted with the residues of a lingering reek that smells like JJ's failed attempts at Star Wars and Star Trek.
When Harrison Ford say's we don't go to a movie to see him, but to see the character he is playing, he is being humble. We do go to see him, just as we go to see movies with our favorite actors, for example with Al Pacino its the signature voice that makes the characters he plays great and draw an audience, or even Mike Rowe who can narrate a monkey taking a sh*t and we'll watch an hour of monkeys taking a sh*t, Harrison Ford is just as unique an actor with a recognizable voice who's fanbase will always pay to see who he plays next..
Harrison Ford has always been my favorite actor. I must have seen just about every movie with him. He's able to portray a realness to his characters that few other actors are able to match. Still going strong in his 80's.
I felt the movie was about age and I did like the end with the character of Marion because recognizing 2 persons suddenly older that at the time they were playing in the first movie, without surgery, perfectly recognisable even older, is so sweet❤
The new Indiana Jones movie was a lot of fun! It was incredible to see how they managed to bring a much younger Indy back on the screen. Probably the best FX Ive seen. The movie carried a lot more weight than the earlier ones, especially compared to the second one. It is a beautiful piece of artwork. Enjoy the ride!
I love that age is a big part of the last Indiana Jones Saga! We all age, it can't be avoided so going with it rather than trying to hide is is a great idea!
Hollywood people are paid to promote this movie in the most obviously paid-for ways. Wouldn't it have been great if they paid writers to create a quality product to deliver to the audience instead of paying you to pretend you like it? Actors.
Yeah! There has NEVER before been a movie that included the facts of aging! "18 Again" never happened. No sequel ever looked at an older and wiser version of a character from a previous movie! Rocky Balboa and the Creed movies? Never happened! Nobody has ever blown out the candles on a birthday cake in a movie! That makes this storyless Cashgrab Jones movie important and relevant! Time passes and it gradually makes us look and behave and even move differently than we did before! This is astounding! Oh my gosh!!! Aging!
i grew up with his movies, he Is not only a great actor, one of the best imho but he Is also an amazing human being an example of a self made man who stays humble. This man Is a Legend.
I loved this so much! Harrison was so engaged and excited to talk about everything and I think he really appreciated the questions being substantial and insightful 😊
Enjoyed watching this. Harrison Ford is an amazing icon. As an previous full time actor, I always enjoy when I forget that I’m watching someone act, when I’m truly immersed in the character and the story. I think Harrison Ford is that type of actor. I haven’t seen the last Indiana Jones but I want to see it.
We love Harrison Ford because of the integrity that he has for the roles that he plays. Though I haven’t always loved all of the movies, I’ve always enjoyed seeing the quality that he brings to them,.. 🙏
That part in Raiders when Indy shoots the swordsman... My parents took us to see Raiders with our cousins, we were all little kids at the time, and when my little cousin saw the Swordsman, he yells out just as it cut to Indy's face, "AW, NUTS!!" The whole crowd burst into laughter, which is unusual for where we live in Wisconsin, nobody laughs out loud in our local theater even nowadays. Even the grownups were laughing! The magic of movies through a kid's eyes.
This was a really good interview. Ususally interviews with Ford become cynical jokes because of lack of content, but here you talked about something that seemed to interest both. Good talk
Is IT Just me or Harrison talks much smoother than in other interviews for the past few years? Without stuttering, long pauses. Seem… I don’t know, more youthful 😀
,A very open, very interesting interview. He's so talented, highly intelligente and down to earth. One of my favorite actors, A true Legend, thank you for being Yourself ! I personally enjoy all your Great movies though my superfavorite remains "Witness"
He is 80 and still looks awesome! I liked the new Indiana jones movie despite what the reviews say... I'm in my 30s and couldn't do the things he can do at 80... indie and han solo are the two best characters to ever cross the screen
I like how he put that. I agree .... a hero is identified by those that are saved by the hero, not something that one can choose to be. Therefore its not an actual character to play -- its an outcome of a character having been played.
Time for that lifetime academy award! Thank you Mr. Ford for making movies that were a major part of my life back when I was a teenager to today at 55 years old.
I love all of the films, Dial Of Destiny was so good, awesome way to have ended it. Top notch work with the deaging, it looks legit and I wasn't taken out of it once.
The last one was very sad and disrespectful to an old men and I never want to watch it again and don't believe there is a soul that is going to buy the blueray when it comes out.
Mr. Harrison Ford. A very fine human being. A Great Guy. Legend. Superb actor indeed. And a guy I would like to hang with few a couple of beers and to thank him personally for all of the smiles, good times, laughes, and the fine movies he has made for us over the years, and to wish him well moving on to His next Adventure in life.
Watched it a day ago with my family of 6 in the cinema and we all loved it. A beautiful ending to one of our favourite screen caracters and you and everyone else involved did a fantastic job. Salute!!
Was your favorite part when he wanted to stay back in time and die like a beaten loser or when the British chick punched him out? Genius story telling. Amazing character development
One of the best actors out there very humble, a true gentleman & a great actor. We love Han Solo and Jack Ryan, Indiana Jones, rusty sabich and so many others ! Keep up the great work !!!!!
I loved Indy 5. I suppose it's getting a bad rap because people rejected it being about age and wanted more of the same matinée feeling the old movies were all about. But if you accept this is the kind of movie they wanted to make, it totally works as an elegiac meditation without making you feel absolutely miserable.
@@jd0604 She was, but I take it she was meant to be. Rewatched Raiders the night before watching Dial, and Indy is a real d-bag at least for the first half of the movie. The Helena character is a pretty one-to-one copy of the young Indy, which kinda makes sense.
Harrison Ford the legend, one of my all time favorite actors, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny was an amazing adventure, Thank you for making my childhood special with your amazing movies 🤠👏👏👏
I just finished watching the New Indiana Jones in Theaters 2023🎥 Indiana Jones was Artificial intelligence Face. He did a Great Job Acting Actions Scene anyways for his Age. Congrats🎉
As a legendary actor who has brought the iconic character to life, his perspective on how he envisioned the conclusion of the series holds great significance. Ford's involvement and passion for the character over the years have undoubtedly shaped the beloved franchise.
A lot of people complain that the new film diminishes Indiana Jones by making him into a weaker, older and more jaded version of the character, but I think it was I beautiful way to bring back a beloved character in a different stage of his life, and to explore how he copes with aging. No matter how mighty you are, all humans age and face their mortality sooner or later.
Just saw it and love it. It’s definitely character driven and aged with him but everything brought me back to the earlier movies. Indians Jones will always be one of the best franchises of all time!
This current movie and all the Indiana Jones movies are so high quality, the dialect and intelligence is rare in these times we live in now. I appreciate this movie and Harrison’s career as a actor.
Hollywood people are paid to promote this movie in the most obviously paid-for ways. Wouldn't it have been great if they paid writers to create a quality product to deliver to the audience instead of paying you to pretend you like it? Actors.
Thank you Harrison for Indiana Jones this character and series mean so much to me a big part of my childhood you've inspired me all my life it's been an honor
