Thank you for the triangle diagram. Almost always was doing Vengeful Retreat wrong. I'm enjoying havoc more now with your tips and tricks on the class.
Thanks so much for the Dealing With Movement section! All the tips were great, but it find as a recent convert to Havoc - movement/positioning is the least intuitive part of the spec to pick up. Oh yeah the one super-noob tip I would add, is to increase your mouse sensitivity when playing havoc.
Before I found Voodoosaurus, even my mother wouldn't look at me because my logs were grayer than her hair. After Voodoo, my dad came back from the milk store, my Ex is begging to be back with me, and my logs are just like the bills in my wallet: 100.
Thanks for the content VooDoo! Been watching your Smolderon Prog when I can and trying to watch what both DHs in your guild are doing. Working on that boss as well. I really enjoyed the boss tip videos you did previously! Going back to last tier even! Cheers brother. Thanks again!
Smolderon has been downed for us and we’re on tindral now, i’m taking next week off from raiding (and next two weeks from videos) but another tip video for the next few bosses (and either all or part of tindral) should be one of the first few vids once im back :) Appreciate it!!
what's the best way to throw WB's into the opener? I've been doing sigil > immo > felblade > WB's > eyebeams > grab left > felrush to right > hunt > ESSB > venge > rush through back > DS > meta > DS > eyebeam.
You just use it before your damage starts w/ the first eyebeam. Didn’t mention trinket because not everyone has an on-use, but it’s really not that complex
Couple questions as a newbie DH: So you use the eye with vengeful retreat without inertia, and save inertia for EB /dance. Do you also want to use inertia for the hunt? The top dh players have split talents, some using glaive tempest and no essence break, others using EB. Which is better for m+?
Inertia for the hunt depends on if you get resets or have lust on opener etc, but a general rule is as long as you have inertia rolling for some of the dot you’ll be fine. In terms of GT/EssB for m+, both give you essentially the same damage over the course of a key, so it’s really down to personal preference
Idk I use EB during tyrannical affix and GT during none tyrannical makes huge difference for me.. since EB is solely for single target dmg …and GT aoe so yeah
is inertia or momentum better for raiding and m plus im just starting DH at lvl 70 with 4 pieces already but I dont know what build is the best that suits me
i mention the hunt, but death sweep should be a priority, especially with essb. for the most part, as long as the hunt's dot is in inertia, you're good
Hi voodoo! I have a question regarding ragefire, is it worth trying to inertia the explosion? I am noticing that I have very similar immo casts as other dhs in my keys but their ragefire is typically much higher. I have a weak aura that tracks each instance of immo aura and always try to be in the biggest pack when it explodes. Thanks!
its a minor gain to have inertia up for the last 5 ticks of immolation aura, but the difference isnt major. Ragefire itself ISNT buffed by anything, so having inertia up for that wont do much. Generally, their ragefire is *probably* hitting more targets, which could explain that
I use Atrocity UI, which is a sub perk available from his twitch, found here: www.twitch.tv/atrocity Great complete package, been using it for years now
If you have the talent that converts all damage, including fire, to chaos damage, then why are people using the talent that heals you for 3% of all fire damage. Wouldn't it now be chaos damage and not heal you?
ok funny topic why im here. so one of my friends ask me why i dont play wow anymore since i have been playing it since the beta and everybody who knows me on default thinks that im still playing wow. so my friend was here and ask for the elephant in the room of why im playing other games right now (since like 3 years) and not wow. so i said to him you know what lets pick up any random buildguide video and i will show you why this game is on such a decline. so i randomly got to this video. so we watched it and my friend ask me if it was always like this, and i was like no, thats the funny part while most of the successfull games today evolved around having a few keys to press and being easy to understand, wow decided over the years to make the game hyper complicated, having a 15 button rotation on "easy" classes. the joke is wow once was a 5-7 button game with easy to understand rotations. we watched 2 of ur videos and they just so perfectly prove the point there it was great. i said to him im 40 now, i dont want to study freakin rocket science and have an apm of 400 to play my favorite game, i want to relaxe after work, and wow cant do that anymore. sry for going off topic you made great videos, keep up the good work.
The game is more complex than it was, for sure, but there are still specs with simple rotations. Fury, BM, Frost Mage, Destro lock, etc, all still have pretty simplistic rotations with minimal buttons :) Havoc just ain’t one of them anymore, game is changing. But thank you!
Dh from 3 button class to master sith lord rotation cluster fck , i love dh and will always play it but we need to watch inertia buff trink buff weather forecast buff etc ...fml
DH is still quite a bit above all other specs in keys at the higher end of the spectrum, except for maybe Demo Lock at times. It can take another nerf and be more than fine.
And you guys must be playing with some not real good people if you are that far above them, in a 22 I ran this week, we all were actually very close at the end. And it was a 22 TOTT I believe
