The third episode of Marvel Studios' "Hawkeye" is setting up some pretty big players in this corner of the Marvel Cinematic Universe - and yes, we do mean literally big.
Titled "Echoes," the third episode of the Jeremy Renner/Hailee Steinfeld series focuses largely on Maya Lopez, played by Alaqua Cox.
Comic book fans will recognize Maya by another name: Echo. Echo's storyline in the comics tends to involve a major player in the Marvel underworld - Wilson Fisk, aka Kingpin. We don't necessarily see Vincent D'Onofrio's take on the character over the course of episode 3 - he's nowhere in the credits - but the clues are highly compelling.

I like how they used Clint's deafness in this episode. I like how there's a lot of people with disabilities. Even the dog

I totally thought that her “Uncle” was referring to Jack because blinked at his stomach shot but it’s so obviously Fisk, can’t wait to see him in the show

Kinda want Vincent D' Onofrio's Kingpin to fight Tom Holland's Spider-Man in a future MCU project if he returns. Now that its been stated that Tom's Spidey is returning for another trilogy which I suspect "College Years," then this would be a perfect time.

The guy narrating this video is the FAT MAN of FAT MAN AUTO lol! Lastly, this episode had me HOOKED so much that I was PISSED that it ended so fast! I am now considering binge watching this because I don't like waiting for a new episode week by week lol.

I love Hawkeye. I think it's being done incredibly well. As for her mother it seems as if maybe she was thrown into a incredibly shady world and she's just maybe trying to do her best. However we all know how MCU loves to play with things perhaps her mother is much deeper and darker into the underworld than what is being shown right now. Kind of like the Green arrow's mom she always hurt trade that she was all shiny and white and pristine however if anybody that's watched Arrow knows she was into some seriously shady stuff she wasn't the ultra villain but she was a villain in her own right
