Good stuff - would the VRX module fit the EV300O goggles? I know the original VRX was designed for FATSHARK goggles so wondering about the new HDZero VRX

Yes, many people use the original Fatshark VRX with the Skyzone O4X, which is physically identical. I believe many people custom print an adaptor for easy attachment, but this may not be necessary. I'm about to setup my EV300O with HDZero so will report back.

Hello - excellent information and video. First of all, I prefer to use INAV (Long Range Quadcopter). I was hoping to see a lot more information on HDZero setup for INAV. All I see (via youtube) is all betaflight related with very little info on INAV. 1st Question: Can you and do you have any interest doing a quality HDZero Inav setup video for quadcopters. You would be the first as I cannot find a good source for this. 2nd Question as it relates to INAV Port setup: I am well aware that INAV does not support smart audio or use VTX Tables. So, all the setup videos, on youtube, regarding BetaFlight can not be use with INAV. Lets assume I have HDZero VTX with TX/RX leads connected to UART2 on the flight controller. What is the port setup in INAV? Do I use one or two ports? I would assume UART2 is either MSP enabled or Peripheral Enabled (with selecting HDZero VTX)? Is this as simple as INAV only using one UART to setup with INAV? Which one and why? Thanks and appreciate all you do!

Yea HDZero does bot require an FC but you would loose the menus via the Rc. You could need to use the small board to configure.

Am I silly to think I can power up my hdzero freestyle and camera to a lipo battery only and get video on my transporter 2 hd goggles ? Sucks I don’t have a pc trying to set up a camera on an rc car. I fly fixed wing FPV. I don't use INAV, I use ZOHD KOPILOT or a stabilized receiver. Can HDZero be used standalone, without a flight controller?

Looks good, the only issue I have is why do these companies say 6s capable but you should power it up with lower voltage. I have the dji fpv system and it's the same thing. Don't advise 6s capable if it can be damaged, dji is the same way.

New supply HDZero VRX will be available soon. Hopefully by March at latest. Global supply issues still having an affect.

please stop saying that a "smokestoper" prevent ANYTHING to go up in smoke ... having a short on a 1.3, 3.3 or 5v rail, the thing wont stop anything ... 0,5 or 1 amp is enough to burn the low voltage circuit... its only good if you done something wrong on the ESC power side

too complicated all this stuff should just plug together by now with out all this soldering i think i'll wait 5 more years until the industry can sort itself out and agree upon some standards
