So glad to see you back on the trails. Your European trip entertained and inspired me through my 7 months of Chemo. Now 5 weeks post op and getting my stride back slowly seeing you tretking in AZ encourages me to start walk/hike 1 mile at a time and slowly regain my muscle strength and endurance. In 2024 I will continue with some oral treatments so I know the journey ahead will be like hiking a new path I haven't done before. Your upbeat attitude even when things aren't how you plan helps me keep a positive outlook on overcoming the unexpected. Good luck on your AZ adventure.

I am 78 and I walk around Chicago 6 days a week. Chicago has beautiful parks with many many trails. A great city for walking. I have followed your many adventures for years I guess I am a ‘fan’. The trip to Europ was really something. These questions may be too personal if so just ignore. I have wondered for some time how your met. How you decided you both (it used to be three) had the same interest in hiking and living FREE. You may have talked about these things before I was just wondering. I is so beautiful to see two people so like minded and deep friendship is wonderful to see. My wife and I have hiked some beautiful places (Jenney Lake in the Titons etc) and sometimes we get a little tired. But you to are always of one mind. Walk on!
We love Chicago. Glad you are out exploring and walking. We are lucky to have similar likes and it's been a great journey. I think doing things you love is a great way to connect with like minded people.

Hi gals, I attended the Colorado Mountain Club Christmas party and it was a blast! I'm still trying to attend one of the snowshoe classes but they are going to add more. I also attended the Colorado Trail Christmas party held at the Colorado School of Mines. Great group of people. I hope to get some of the over the hill group to hike the trail with me. Consider taking phone photos of your important cards/info (then you have to remember to have your phone with you). It typically is only the name and number the rangers are after. Then you wouldn't have to pay for a new/duplicate. Bill

You probably get tired of hearing this, but you two are such an inspiration! It’s so nice to see you back in AZ. We live in beautiful Cave Creek, in the desert foothills north of Phoenix. We invite and encourage you to visit our area next time you’re nearby! Cave Creek Regional Park has a fantastic campground and beautiful trails, and there are many other wonderful trail systems within a 20-minute drive. My husband and I hike and RV (and mountain bike too)-we love your channel and would be honored to show you our favorite trails if you make it here sometime. Loved seeing your latest video. We spent a good chunk of last winter in Arizona and it was the coldest winter there in 20 years. Our RV is suppose to be built for that but I don't think any of them truly are built for 17 degrees. You should be warmer out of the Flagstaff area. Hope you have a warmer winter. Looking forward to watching your adventures.

I totally understand what you mean by you need to be present when towing an rv. We do lots of summer camping (not full-timers but on the go alot). It's so easy to forget one thing...a window open, the tv antenna still up, a side door open, and whoah! there's a camper back there when you're pulling into the gas station! lol...the older I get the more check lists are needed!! Drive safe ladies and have a great holiday season...always love love love your videos!
I have a 13’ Scamp and a homebuilt teardrop trailer, and I’m forever asking myself if I put something in the teardrop or the Scamp. I’m hoping that my life gets settled enough to go on some road trips next summer. Always enjoy following along on your adventures!

Whybis it called walnut canyon? Is it full of walnuts? Those housing structures look really cool! Not sure I'd want to live right on the ledge like that (I'm a flat-lander from Toronto 😂) but the view from their front door is spectacular!

Looking at your grain bowl meal, brings up a bit of an issue I have on road trips in general. I seem to get constipated really badly with most thoughtful meals like you put together. It took me a few years of summer travels to reduce it down to grains, nuts, dry carbs that were causing the issue. I raise my water intact but unfortunately my lack of fresh greens always gets me. Any experience with this or am I just not understanding road nutrition. These days I mix some stuff into my coffee to stay road regular…
