In this video I show how to make the least inflammatory and most nutritious version of oatmeal to detox the liver. Oats are high in both soluble fiber and starches that help to detox the liver. Since oats have anti-nutrients, we need to reduce them by soaking and cooking. Moreover, oats are a great source of molybdenum and selenium. They are available in most countries and easy and cheap to make. Going organic is another really important point to avoid the negative effects of pesticides and other toxins that stress our liver. In the videos i show how to make groats and rolled oats.

Is it a bad idea to make it with soy or almond milk for extra protein. And I add a banana or blueberry to it. Also I dry toast them before cooking instead of soaking. What are your thoughts on that? Thanks

Yes, pretty similar to the content of cows milk. If you absolutely want to consume it - I recommend not consuming it more than 2 times a week and the quality should be as high as possible to avoid unwanted side effects like estrogen dominance/allergies

No, I don't. Make sure they are organic. If the issues occur even with high qual. oats, you might have problems with sugar, so you need to address gut microbiome by implementing a high qual. probiotic like water kefir to your diet and see if that helps. Otherwise it could be related to you having too much molybdenum or other things, would need to look into that in specific

I dont understand why the buckwheat. It too has antinutrients, such as oxalate.

Good info but watch out for buckwheat which is very high in oxalates. Even when cooked I noticed it inflamed my body. I like using flax oil for the fat which I add to meals when they have cooled down so it doesn't spoil the omega 3's. Also resistant starch increases in foods like potatoes when you let them cool off after cooking, and then eat them.

Good to know and thank you for your comment. I am not a big fan of the flax seed oil. Have consumed that some time ago aswell and it is one of the reasons i got gynecomastia, because they are extremly high in phytoestrogens. About 4 times the concentration that soy has and even soy is high. About the omega 3s: check out my omega 3 in plants video. Basically you are only getting very little amounts of the actual omega 3s and considering the high phytoestrogen content, I don't think that they are benefitial to consume.

@@Lancelot-Nutrition The flax seed oil should have more of that removed, but the phytoestrogen should not cause that unless it is gmo and sprayed with glyphosate which has xenoestrogens. There are people reversing all sorts of inflammatory diseases using mega doses of flax/chia omega 3's. There are also reports of people reversing hormonal cancers such as breast cancer using organic non gmo soy products as part of their protocol. Mammalian estrogen from dairy, endocrine/hormone toxins from plastics, and xenoestrogens from pesticides are in my mind a far bigger concern and cause for estrogen issues in most people.
