To meet fashion's inhumane beauty norms, London model Charli Howard went on a draconian diet. When her agency fired her, Charli told them to eff off via a viral Facebook post. Now, the Brit tells girls everywhere: “Beauty isn't measured by a number."
Charli's video was edited by Andrea Cruz & Christophe McHale

+DARYUS KOBRA I think body image is just used as a way to attract peoples attention to the clothing items. Like, if someone saw a model with a certain body type they would like to have, they would subconsciously want to wear their outfit, thinking they would look like the model.

What struck me as very admirable is that she chose the answer to the question "when do/have you felt the most beautiful?" And she said when someone complimented her on her intelligence, I can relate to that feeling, and more often than not, were are always complimented on looks over brains or are told hat we can either have brains or beauty. No. Eff that. Let's all take both and move on.

People say models have to fit into the sample sizes but im wondering why dont they just make the sample sizes bigger???
@96iceshell
@96iceshell 8 лет назад
+Sophia Lin It's a bit of a weird one that, because at uni and in industry the sample size is equivalent about a UK8/10 and 34B, which on women of an average height isn't particularly small, but because they want really tall women it can then become unhealthy (ofc not always). As the purpose of sample garments in sample size is to communicate between factory and designer and create a garment which sells on the average sized market, special 'tall' fitting garments aren't made for the models, so an 8-10 kind of cuts their losses. Because it's such a globalised and unregulated industry changing the sample size would be really 'confusing' for garment manufacturers and everybody's computer system and basically the industry agrees it would be too much hassle. Remember this is the same industry which also thinks its too much hassle to take responsibility for conditions for workers in the factories which produce their clothes and textiles soooo we can't expect much from them. If that sounded like I was defending the way the fashion industry works, I'm 100% not because so much of it is so wrong, but paths were set in motion years ago and now 1 in 6 workers globally are employed by the fashion sector and it almost seems to late to change things
@Lara0076
@Lara0076 8 лет назад
+michelleb96 UK 8-10? O.o .. I would say UK 4-6 -max 8... When I was 6 they still wanted me to lose weight and get smaller hips.. but you are right that it would look normal on women with average height
@SomeoneCool96
@SomeoneCool96 8 лет назад
+michelleb96 A size 8 is pretty slim on an average size woman, or even a smaller woman- but in no way unhealthy or too "thin".
@96iceshell
@96iceshell 8 лет назад
Lara0076 Really? That's awful, I'm doing design at uni so that's what we're taught but maybe because I do underwear/swimwear design we work to slightly larger sizes than fashion
@96iceshell
@96iceshell 8 лет назад
Beraud I think in general, and I'm not saying this applies to everyone, but in my experience shorter women tend to be more likely to have naturally have smaller measurements than taller women, because people's measurements sort of go up in proportion to their height, but again, I'm stressing that it's a really broad generalisation. So In a way, you're more likely to be able to be able to be healthy and have small measurements as a short woman so that problem could be improved, but like Charli said in the video, the main issue is the attitude towards measurements by the designers, agents and so on.

god when she asked "when do you feel the most beautiful", it just hit me like a truck. I couldn't come up with a single good answer, because I the truth is I don't think I've ever felt beautiful. Not in my entire life. Fuck. Well, at least not physically. Thinking about it a little more now, I think the closest thing I've ever felt to beautiful was when I was loving someone. Like, not in love, no, in the physical act of just adoring another person, of cherishing them, of pure unrestrained delight in the fact that they _exist_. It was like a physical sensation in my chest. Like this open, overflowing warmth. My physical appearance wasn't even something that crossed my mind at the time, but I felt beautiful on the inside. I felt like I _was_ love. I felt perfect, in that moment.

All these comments like "duhh what'd she expect? It's the modelling industry!" are so stupid. I mean, she was treated horribly and pushed into an eating disorder just to keep her job and developed body dysmorphia. How is that okay? If that is just "something to be expected" when you're a model, isn't that very telling about the industry then? Wouldn't it be better to change the industry instead of telling people that they should have known what they were getting into?
@PhilMccamley
@PhilMccamley 8 лет назад
+Carla Fledelius The industry will never change for the people because it is not supposed to be a reflection of what the norm represents. Skinny (not anorexic) is what is most attractive for fashion since its more flexible and artistically maleable and the modeling industry knows that, and since they want to make profit then what else to expect from fashion companies and modeling agencies to put standards that are above of what most people desire. People have NO right to complain when they know what the requirements are, this girl wouldn't even be "exposing" the fashion industry if she held success and had a relatively better experience than what she had. She's just trying to make up for her failure and the emotions that came from her experience. I know it is a bit uncompassionate to say that, but that is the reality of the situation.
@PhilMccamley

I believe the question is more complex then that Phil McCuckly. Many models are handpicked when they are very young (around 15). That's a age when the societys and the surrounding have a lot of influens in creating opinions and values. I don't think that anybody easily can avoid getting eatingdisorders when constantly getting measured and compared, especially at a young age like that. Therefore we shouldn't blame these young girls and boys for getting mentalproblems when the root of the problems lies within the industry. Ofcourse the industry will change if the people whant it to. The industry only whants to make a great profit by showing what they think we consumers whant to se, so if we all fight and stand up for this problem the industry will have to listen...

Models aren't treated like humans, they are seen as mannequins. They have to show the clothes in a "perfect" way which means there must not be any curves or anything. The clothes have to flow down the body and even the littlest bit of boob would "distract" from them, or so the designers think. Any type of fat on the body supposedly distracts. They could practically use some sort of metal rack and achieve this desired result. It's an idea I have never been able to wrap my mind around. Sometimes you see models with purple hands and ribs sticking out; how is that not distracting, in a disturbing way? It always makes me feel so terrible for them, that they have to put their body in danger for the sake of this horrible industry. This is another reason why most designers (or practically all) prefer white models over colored, because white skin is like a canvas to them or like a mannequin. I read these things once from a designer who explained it himself. It's incredibly messed up.
@sarahbarabe8470
@sarahbarabe8470 5 лет назад
I don't think its ethical to use human beings when all you're looking for is a clothing rack. Also, I get the point is to see the clothes, but how do you expect those clothes to sell when the consumers who have different and diverse body types can't even see what the clothes will look like on them? How do we even know that the designers are able to design properly fitting clothes for other body types? No wonder nothing ever fits properly 🙄

Is part of the problem just that there are so many beautiful women willing to be models that the agencies can basically make any demands they want regardless of whether they make sense? Like you have 500 beautiful women but you have to pick 10 so the only way to filter the 490 out is to set some arbitrary random impossible measurement/standard just for the sake of eliminating people even though they are actually equally suited for the job.

Yes!!! I applaud her in speaking the truth! I think it's so stupid how models have to be like size 0 or 00. In reality, most people are not that size and it wrongly represents fashion. I think models look better as the healthiest they can be, and not the skinniest they can be. Models of every size should represent fashion because it changes how clothes look on people and more realistically portrays everyone in society. There are several different styles of clothes that look the best on different body structures - skinny, tall, short, curvy... This would not only open doors for fashion, but increase sales and products to shoppers. In addition, this would reduce body disorders and mental health disorders. I'm glad she's breaking the "you have to be size 0 or 00 to wear fashion clothes and look beautiful" norm. We need more people like her to stand up to society's "norms".

I had the exact same experience when I was a model. They kept on telling me to lose more hips but as a black girl..I naturally have bigger hips and it was very had for me..I never went with friends at restaurants...used to drink juice all day and eating only vegetables. People looked at me and told me that I was very skinny and I should eat more while I was supposed to lose even more weight. I went threw surgery and it wasn't enough!!! My hips was 35 at my lowest and my agency wanted me to around 34..33 like what!! anw I'm glad I'm no longer a model. And one good advice is that if your not naturaly very skinny and if your not confident ...this is not the industry for you.

What I don't really like about this is the comment, "Beauty is not a number." In my opinion modeling is not about beauty, not in the standard sense of it. If it were, half the women in Hollywood would be trotting down the cat walk professionally. Modeling is about the clothes and if you are a suitable hanger for it... that's all. There is no purpose in being upset or self destructive if you aren't the right body type to wear a size zero... there are opportunities to be photographed or model clothing for almost every women of every size and age if you look in the right places. Fit models, plus models, age appropriate models, it's everywhere. And the reality of the world is that not everyone is suited for everything. I'm sure there are thousands of guys who would have loved to be a pro athlete, but lacked the body type of skill. We don't blame the sports industry for it.... so it's weird to me to be upset at the modeling industry for similar reasons. Heck, I honestly don't even know why being a model is that coveted of a job, women are so much more then pictures in a magazine or hangers on a runway. Good video though, she's a beautiful girl!
@PeepsILoveEllie

the thing is that models define what young girls think is beautiful. they want to look just like them, which is mostly unrealistic. so if models looked more like the people you see every day on the street - the people who are going to wear all these clothes in the end! - we would all feel much better about our bodies.
@ClutchNK
@ClutchNK 8 лет назад
+PeepsILoveEllie But models DO look like every day people. You don't really get to define what an "everyday person" is just because they don't look like YOUR personal interpretation. There are just as many girls who are thin and tall as there are girls who are short and voluptuous... and they all have opportunities to model if they choose to in different markets. Also, model's are only one tiny element of what "defines" beautiful to young girls and their representation is decreasing rapidly. It's not 1992 anymore, the super model thing is long dead. Young girls now look to celebrities, singers and youtube personalities for "what is beautiful". Seriously, name me 10 "super models" that have any clout with teens today... I promise you they are too busy idolizing Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande to worry about if they look like runway girl #6. But let's be real, it's not the modeling industries job to help you feel better about yourself. Their job is to make and sell clothes. Fashion shows and photographs are an art display, not a platform for your self image issues. You need to be okay with who you are because YOU love YOURSELF not because someone else has to tell you you are beautiful.
@PeepsILoveEllie
@PeepsILoveEllie 8 лет назад
GoreGirlNK of course a lot of people are tall and thin, but that's not what makes you a model. models severely limit their food intake and a lot of them even starve themselves. they do this just so they can be models - just so they can sell clothes to the people of which the majority will never be as skinny as them. doesn't make sense to me! you are right about the fact that celebrities have more influence on young people than models these days. but to them, you can apply the same formula. most of them are doing as much as they can to stay thin so they fit in with the norm of what's beautiful. same as models do, just not that crass. they won't lose their jobs if they weigh more, but their management will urgently recommend to stop gaining weight. yes, it's the modelling industry's job to make and sell clothes. but why do almost all of them display only one body type - tall and skinny? because it's that kind of body that is considered beautiful in our society, therefore labelling all other bodies "not good enough". you're a bit harsh, don't you think? where do you think that self image issues come from? from a society that clearly puts one body type over all others. and the modelling industry plays a big part in promoting that kind of body image. if you cannot see that it's hard to be happy with a body that isn't seen as beautiful by the media and therefore society, then you're kind of oblivious. and while models are no longer personal idols and, like you say, their names aren't even super well known, their images are still everywhere - on TV, in magazines, at the bus stop. the modelling industry - just like Hollywood, youth magazines, the music scene, you name it ... - has a lot of power in what they promote, and instead of promoting diversity, they stick to the same old "white, tall and skinny". I'm tired of the media displaying zero diversity and then yelling "oh please" at everyone who does not love themselves, blaming them for not loving themselves even though the society at large clearly doesn't love them either. and yes, there are great developments that have happened over the past few decades/years - I am aware of that and that is super great! but we are nowhere where we should be, there is a lot of work left and a lot of awareness to be raised.
@ClutchNK
@ClutchNK 8 лет назад
"of course a lot of people are tall and thin, but that's not what makes you a model." Well, technically that IS what makes you eligible to be a model, then the ability to model the clothes professionally solidifies it. "Models severely limit their food intake and a lot of them even starve themselves. they do this just so they can be models - just so they can sell clothes to the people of which the majority will never be as skinny as them." Yes and no. Some models do this, yes. And that should never be the case, however a majority of models achieve their form either naturally or through healthy diet and exercise. They need to train like athletes and fit models.. the smart ones dedicated to their career do so in a healthy manner. Examples: www.cosmopolitan.com/style-beauty/fashion/advice/g3444/9-runway-models-diets/ "Most of them are doing as much as they can to stay thin so they fit in with the norm of what's beautiful." Why is thin and fit not a reasonable goal for a woman? Thin and fit is also healthy. Why is dedication to a body one chooses to be proud of such a threat to other women? That's an unfair judgement and really selfish. A models body and a clothing designed choice of what body type he/she feels best displays the clothing isn't about you. It's about the clothing. "Therefore labelling all other bodies "not good enough"" Hmm, I guess I don't see other peoples aesthetic choices as victimizing me... I am not a victim of society, I have no apologies to make for my body type... should I be mad at sports because I wasn't born as strong as a man and can't play football without injury? No. That's silly... I'm not going to ask the NFL to change their roster requirements to accommodate me because the sport isn't about me. I'm not so entitled as to think the world owes me consideration like that. "Where do you think that self image issues come from? ...from a society that clearly puts one body type over all others." Self image issues.. come from SELF. If you need "society" to validate your worth then you have a bigger problem then the modeling industry. This, "what about me" trend is creating a bunch of very dependent people who have no drive to make their own future. It's not the job of other people to make you a happy healthy minded person, that is your responsibility. You want to see changes, make them for yourself. Stop watching fashion shows, stop buying magazines, stop idolizing celebrities. Ta-da, you've instantly removed "society" from your radar and can carry on enjoying who you are without the negative influence you feel is affecting you so deeply. "If you cannot see that it's hard to be happy with a body that isn't seen as beautiful by the media and therefore society.." Really? You need the media to tell you your pretty. That's about a shallow and vapid as it gets. If you are that concerned with your looks versus who you are and what wonderful things live inside you then you deserve to feel horrible for your idolization of such surface bullshit. You realize that your body and face are only at it's peak for a short while right? That soon enough you'll be full of wrinkles and sagging parts.. and this shallow pursuit of "pretty" will have NO baring on who you were. I mean seriously how can you be this superficial? Beauty by any standards is the least important value to be concerned with... "Instead of promoting diversity, they stick to the same old "white, tall and skinny". I'm tired of the media displaying zero diversity and then yelling "oh please" at everyone who does not love themselves, blaming them for not loving themselves even though the society at large clearly doesn't love them either." That might be the biggest load of bullshit I've ever read. Please review: www.google.com/search?q=models+of+color&espv=2&biw=1343&bih=739&site=webhp&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwi2gKGwuZvNAhUOVFIKHW4GCiIQsAQIIg I haven't seen a runway show in years that didn't have a rainbow of color representation. I will agree that film needs to catch up with television in terms of A list lead actor talent, but the modeling industry is teaming with women of all colors... in fact they've become the coveted face for quite a few designers. Now in terms of body diversity... do you even follow fashion or film? www.google.com/search?q=plus+size+runway&espv=2&biw=1343&bih=739&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwj_lvC4upvNAhUXLlIKHZl0Au4QsAQIGw www.google.com/search?q=plus+size+actresses&espv=2&biw=1343&bih=739&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&sqi=2&ved=0ahUKEwjZlOrlupvNAhVIK1IKHVbRCIkQ_AUIBigB These women aren't "real" enough for you? The standard of beauty is purely in your head NOT in society. Voluptuous women have been fawned over for decades. Marilyn Monroe, Betty Page, Christina Hendricks, Kim Kardashian, Drew Barrymore, Jennifer Lawrence, Selma Hayek, Kat Dennings, Kate Upton... the list goes on. The boobless buttless girl you seem to THINK society idolizes isn't the standard for beauty my friend... like I said initially, they are COAT HANGERS. Men don't hang pictures of runway model "Romy Schonberger" on their walls they hang photos of Scarlett Johansson or Kate Upton and Emma Watson (who were both listed as in the top 20 most beautiful women of 2015). In fact none of the women on the list were runway models, stick thin or anorexic. So it appears YOUR judgement of societies standards are wrong. And finally, let me explain the purpose of runway/fashion to you. Before retail is even a consideration Fashion is art, the clothes that come from most high end designers are RARELY meant for mass market. This is why they are priced at hundreds to thousands of dollars. Like art, fashion is often an exclusivity.. a thing to be looked at and admired but not necessarily owned by the general public. The design elements and colors are later trickled down to your regular shopper department stores but not directly from the runway so essentially those designs are NOT for you but to inspire your shopping choices at the local Nordstroms. So no YOU are't the audience the designer is hoping will purchase his/her designs. The designer makes clothes for the elite, the wealthy, the magazine editors, the decision makers, and prominent influencers in fashion. YOU are not any of those. A designer doesn't need to show how an outfit looks on a size 12 because you and I are not his demographic. A size 0 model allows the clothing to hang as it would in a store without obstruction.. this is essentially the purpose of runway, to see the clothing on a walking hanger. NOT to see how it fits different body types. ALL that said, size '0' runway isn't the only runway. There are just as many designers that catwalk all sizes. Examples are Mark Fast, Michael Kors, Vera Wang, Calvin Kline, Christian Serriano, Ralph Lauren.. the list goes on. Ashley Grahm is a beautiful girl who's graced the covers of both Elle and Sports Illustrated same with Melissa McCarthy, Adele, Rebel Wilson, Leslie Jones, Gabrielle Sidbe, and more. You are ignoring the diversity for the one niche you don't agree with and that's both unfair and shaming to the girls you call "Not real representations of women". How about you concern yourself with how to be happy in your skin and let them be happy in theirs without all of this "woe is me I'm not considered pretty by a room of people I don't know" muck that is completely irrelevant to who anyone is as a human being.

+GoreGirlNK Models are almost always unhealthy and too thin. Being thin like a model isn't reasonable because it isn't healthy. Athletes have to be very fit and muscular, and we do blame the sports industry for athletes use of steroids, so why wouldn't we blame the modelling industry for models use of starvation?

Yes, of course it's a model's job to look a certain way. They want girls who will look great and sell the product. It's understandable for an agency to only hire very beautiful girls, or to not to hire girls who are over weight- but asking girls who are already thin to lose weight is highly unethical. This model is obviously already underweight (not that I'm saying that's bad. She's clearly just naturally thin, and I've no doubt she's healthy at this weight.) and losing weight could mean very serious health complications for her- especially being asked to lose weight that quickly, something that could only be achieved with unnatural starvation. I understand why agencies feel like they need to make these demands. I know it's a cut throat industry and the industry standard is very thin girls, but just because it's normal doesn't make it any less abhorrent. Modelling is part of big business, but models are still people, and need to be respected as such.
@imKajsa-ns2ib
@imKajsa-ns2ib 8 лет назад
Bronte Calligaro I also think it is highly unethical to require an unhealthy weight in order to get a job. Although there is a lot of publicity on the dark side of modelling, I think I have an obligation to say that this isn't true about a vast majority of agencies, being a model myself. I also would like to add that I know overweight models. Because they have "realistic body types", they get a fair amount of bookings. Which I'm very happy about, because it encourages other overweight people to actually try new things as well. Anyway, just my opinion, do what makes you happy. If you're not happy quit and do something else. yah?

+Ravyn Skye Well that just goes to show why it's a bad idea to do it. Modeling, to me, is basically like a genetic lottery. It can only be enjoyable when you're extraordinarily beautiful, have an extremely thin body with the right composition naturally, but above all have a support system in your family and your agency. When one of those things is missing, modeling is hell on earth
@RavynSkye617
@RavynSkye617 8 лет назад
Elin Tilia - I've never seen an agency as a support system. And modeling is no more enjoyable for the extraordinarily beautiful... There's a TEDx talk from Cameron Russel on that. Modeling makes EVERYONE feel like shit sometimes. And yes, I did permanent damage to my heart and kidneys and liver from not eating. 300 calories a day is a lot to me. I only ate every 3 days, and took tons of Topamax to make myself not feel hungry... up to 600mg/day. My agencies had DOCTORS in their pockets they'd send you to if you didn't make weight/measurements.

She is absolutely gorgeous! God, the insanity of the fashion industry to suggest that this woman is by any means "fat." She looks very slim and quite healthy. Not just that, but I'm happy to see someone take a stand! She was so honest, and refreshing to listen to. In addition to that, I've been the size O, but I'm only 5ft4. She is healthy for her height. Do we really want to look at a magazine and think, "this chick looks emaciated and malnourished." No, we want to think that she is draping the clothing beautifully and looks at least healthy. Bottom line, She took a stance, she looks very slim and healthy, and fashion is currently creating unreasonable standards for women. Just the other day-me at a store- store clerk-"let's find a dress for someone with big boobs and a small waist." I'm not even joking. THat's how she addressed me.The first woman tried to give me an 8 or 10, and then when those were too big, I put a size 6 on. The second clerk was so sweet and didn't belittle me. I was like, "why is she giving me such big sizes?" I'm actually quite petit. One woman was so nice, and the other was kinder to my mom because she was sooo skinny. Don't get me wrong, I'd like to get thinner. In fact, I love exercising and just started to work out, but I have no intentions of letting rudeness lower my self-esteem. Someone recently compared my body type to Betty Page, and even Scarlett Johansson. THese women are my icons because they embrace their curves instead of letting society break them. :) To anyone who is setting unrealistic body goals, we are who we are. Believe me, as an identical twin who gets compared to someone else on a daily basis, I know that better than anyone. The key to joy is not comparing ourselves to others. Comparison really is the thief of joy.

It's messed up how the modelling industry is. How it can affect a woman's mentality, especially if they're young. Body types are individual. Some girls will always look a little curvier, no matter how much they starve themselves, and others will be naturally slim and tiny despite their diet. The agencies must know this, but choose not to care, which is the most sickening part. This girl is stunning, and I see it as a massive loss for them.

Charlie, What a smart articulate young woman you are. I am so glad you have told us of your experience, and shined your light and truth into the dark murky awful corners of the modelling agency world. My daughter Lily was really sick and in hospital on a drip , and her modelling agency said "have you lost more weight"? So many modelling agencies absolutely do not seem to care about the welfare of models. Beauty (size wise) is absolutely not measured by a number. It is about confidence and freedom to be yourself, speak your mind freely. Thank you Charlie. I hope in future you are represented by an agency who really care about you; and you get to be articulate and to have freedom of choice.

I have experienced everything this woman describes. Agencies know that an insecure model = an easily controlled model, and in that industry you are little more than a bottom line. If a girl got pregnant, gained weight or got too old, there was an official industry term for her: "self-destructed". I'm now 32 and to this day I feel disgusting looking at myself. I know, I know...first world problems and all but being a model really does a number on your self esteem.

I just got recommended to see this video and I'm so glad that I did. I'm a really big fan of you now Charli. I've always been a curvier woman and got bullied for my weight at school. You are so right that the media makes people feel bad about their body. It's actually very refreshing to know that even models can feel insecure about their looks and struggle with body image. You're a very beautiful woman and you're very inspiring.

Not to mention the false sense of reality issue. Telling people they are something they arent just to appease them is unhealthy.

I totally get where this comment is coming from. insta models are #goals to young girls, who dream of becoming models. they never talk about the industry until they're past their prime.

I love seeing this inspiring, uplifting side of youtube, where I don't feel like I'm wasting my life by watching these. - Also as a lanky teenage girl just shy of 6 foot, this story really hit home. :)

The way she talks, I like her. It's like while she speaks, she is thinking and reflecting at the same time. So while she goes, she comes to new conclusions and insights. Talking to other people is what would really help her, I think. I can relate to it. She seems like a really interesting person to talk to. I kind of wish I could :)

Excellent "Modeling is about fantasy". Thank you for knowing your whole story. Beautiful. May you be guided wisely to become a powerfully balanced elder.

Beautifully done, Its like she shed off all the insufficient thing in life that held her down and found the beauty in her that was always there. GOD bless you and all that your doing.

Shes very thin but still has a feminine figure, if she is modeling for WOMANS clothes then whats wrong with her having a WOMANS body

I just discovered your page and I love this project. I don't understand how anyone could ever look at her and say she's too big. But that's their loss because now she's stronger, sharing an amazing inspirational journey!

This woman is absolutely stunning and perfect!! How dare those misogynistic fashion assholes try and tell her there was anything wrong with her!? I'm so glad she spoke up for herself in the end and had the courage to share her story. She was so eloquent and did such a good job but my heart just broke listening to all of that.

So many of the other videos on this channel have people who genuinely love themselves, despite not being what society deems valuable/most loveable. Then you have the woman in this vid and you can see she doesn't feel confortable with herself, despite being typically very beautiful. She doesn't love herself. When the interviewer demanded she give a time she loves herself, she couldn't give one. I relate! It's interesting how people are so different in that respect. I wonder, is this channel purely about inspirational women who love themselves, thereby having 'style'? Or is it about people like Charli as well? Confidence is so complicated...

Yes! And as great and encouraging as it is to see confident people, she is so much more realistic to some of us. And we can see her beauty; I hope we can see our own sometime

She is clever. I'm just appalled that she was treated so horribly. I'm happy I stumbled upon this youtube channel today. You've made my day. I love to hear these women speaking the truth. I thrilled to see that they can express themselves so freely. How wonderful that's you've given them this platform. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
