If you want a hint as to just how mad Malekith and his former sister-in-law were when they found out, Ariel responded to Morathi's little stunt by torching Ghrond (Morathi's pet city in Fantasy) while Malekith happily banned anyone from so much as JOKING about helping Morathi avoid getting axed.

Morathi didn't fight Teclis on the Finuval planes, she was in Naggaroth at the time. She remotely used her magical powers to save Tyrion from death in a duel with Malekith's champion (because she saw a copy of her ex-husband in Tyrion)

The Flame of Asuryan doesn't do nothing to the Phoenix King, it actually burns and "kills" them while bringing them back as something else. This is to mirror what happened to Asuryan, which died but came back. What happened to Malekith was actually normal, but he didn't have to conviction to go through the process at the time. That's why he was able to pass through the flame in the End Times, he was able to accept burning himself and dying for the elves.

This is something I've been thinking about since the Pancreas put the video up... Depending on how GW went about it, I think she'd do well in the WH40k-setting, at the very least I could see her not only being one of the big power-players in the galaxy, but maybe launching a side-story in WH40K in which Aeldari and Drukhari start to turn to Slaanesh-worship in a bid to avoid having their souls meet the fate that so many others have; basically the idea being that they're hoping if they worship Slaanesh then they'll go easier on the Aeldari/Drukhari souls or something of the like. If she met Fulgrim, I think she'd first try to seduce him, and if that doesn't work hopefully she'd put him down.

You may have gotten it by now but I think the redcon reason was literally just that he went out of the flame too soon, I think the new explanation in lore amounted t, "if you would spend a little bit more time and the Divine oven you may well have become king, but since you pulled out too fast, you got burned to a crisp,"but someone who actually understands the Lore could probably give a better explanation

he got the point value wrong in this, since both models cost 700 (its 680 now but who cares) it would add up to 1400 points spent on the creature. For reference most games played are either 1000 or 2000 points.
