I remember really wanting to see the view from atop the bus that day, we were swimming down below. There was a preacher man blowing a rams horn shouting this was a message from god, pandemic was just kicking off, nearly turned me into a believer. It was a fine morning, after being up all night working then getting high and finding this sight. After turning a corner and almost missing it, and going home to bed instead seeing a huge wave coming over the wall and thinking I was imaging it to running towards the beach then away from it shitting oneself in a giddy fit of excruciatingly oh I wanna dive in and get thrown out of the ocean vibe to no its cold and wet well duh to how close can I get to I'm soaked to the bone oh shit my phone better capture something before it fries itself etc etc until you get used to the waves and walk home piss wet throu but smiling all the way inside for a week or two later

You can’t build endless retail parks with free parking, at the back of the town without “casualties”. Go to Gallagher Retail park, and you’ll find it’s thriving.
Only the British can make a seaside town a place so dismal.. We're not talking something with atmospheric bleakness. No blasted foreshore, doomy stand. More a place you go to die from depression. It's a talent! It's the seaside equivalent of the US strip mall. Places that suck out any will to live.
