>Almost charge a guy 2222 dollars instead of 22 >Later, try to charge a guy 200 dollars for a pack of rice >Realize he pays what it cost when he picked it up, comment 'mkay, that's fair' Quality content!
I want an update that makes you have to worry about items expiration dates. Shoplifters would be a good addition, also customers holding up the line over a 50 cent coupon. I also want an inventory system on the computer that gets messed up do to people at the distibution center slapping a NyQuil sticker on a box of cheerios every delivery until you have 12 boxes filled with an item no one buys and you have to damage it all after a year since no one want to buy it. I also want the DM to say its the fault of the workers at the store and not give you enough hours in a week to get everything done so you end up behind schedule.
A lot of people are... and that poor cashier Oboe finally hired, he works 8 AM to 9 PM every day, for $80 a day. That's $6.15 an hour, a starvation wage! Granted, he is insufferably slow. But still. Let's all agree to pay people decently~ (And/or defenestrate the suitmonkeys who won't)
10:34 I have those nightmares too. Usually I end up just sitting in a different class that I was supposed to go to on a different day. Also in those nightmares, I forget my locker combination
This is so relaxing to watch somehow. I had a busy day and just sitting down seeing oboe arrange shelves and put many boxes with item still in them in the trash was simply engrossing. It remind of the baseball games oboes used to play, but those had build up. Here it's super basic, but fascinating. Looking forward for more.

ive been a chef for about 9 years. my nightmares are waking up at 3 am thinking i need to get potatoes out of the oven or that i forgot to order something. my body developed a natural alarm to check my phone in the morning to see who called off. service/hospitality and retail ptsd are real
I never had the nightmares of the brakes going out on me but I did frequently had one as a kid where I was driving but then freaking out on the realization that I dont know how to drive, yet somehow never crashing
I used to have teeth falling out nightmares so often that I started to notice it while asleep and began lucid dreaming, I no longer have teeth falling out nightmares
I've had teeth falling out dreams, but the weirdest was scrolling through my phone in my sleep and seeing all my friend's post social media pics of themselves without teeth. Like it was some kind of ongoing trend to get all your teeth removed. Creepy.
One of my worst nightmares is being in some terrible situation and I'm trying to call 911 but for some reason I'm just fumbling around with my phone and can't type right, nothing is working correctly, I'm just tapping my screen in frustration as I keep mistyping the numbers and trying to open my phone call app.
I had a retail nightmare one time, kinda. I used to work at a small, family owned flower shop, and I was having weird/bad dreams about a bunch of different stuff during this time. And I had a dream that I came into work and immediately after entering the front door, one of my co-workers took a knife, looked me dead in the face, and slit her throat. Blood gushed everywhere and she didn't scream or anything. And all my other co-workers just looked blank like nothing was happening. I remember the shop going really dark whenever it happened, as well. No idea why it was this specific co-worker that did it, because she wasn't very relevant to my life in any major way. I just woke up freaking out. I think I woke my gf at the time up as well. That wasn't the last weird dream I had that year.
@Bruno-ec8ft Not that I was aware 🤣 maybe haunted by a racoon or a possum or something, because I came into work one summer's day and im pretty sure I smelled something decaying 🤣 But honestly, I was in a bad spot with alcohol at the time, so I'm pretty sure that's what started causing my nightmares. But I'm like 90% sure that the BIG reason I had that specific one was because I watched Sweeney Todd that night, and my dream looked *very* similar to the ending scene from that movie.
i enjoy the relatively chill nature of this game. I'm up to a store with two registers just so i can make sure ot get the checkout margin, but, i have 12 shelves, but only because i only put two items on each shelf, a 4 shelves each, and then, so many coolers too. just because some things run out even while having 4 shelves, like the 6 pack of milk which only hold 4 to a shelf
FAVORITE NIGHTMARE: small crawlspace with spooky cobwebs and bug like sensations. house has corridors with impossible thresholds. shapeshifting doorways and shadows that follow me around.
Back when I was 18 and working at Radio Shack, one of my coworkers was stealing from the till. Every shift they worked, the count was off by $100+. I eventually caught them on camera and reported it to the district manager. It was especially frustrating because I had to make the bank deposits at night and got blamed for the count being off, at first.
And the WORST part is that all the flunkers and slackers who don't get punished because they need the bodies in the store, continue operating in the same manner with no change and no repercussions. THEN when you stand up for yourself or ask for the abcesnt or slackers wage for doing their job that they get paid to do, you're the out of line one? I RUN THIS PLACE BY MYSELF AS PART OF A TEAM, MANAGERS PLEASE DO YOUR JOB. I would work double for double the wage, happily. 2 bucks extra an hour for double the work is insanity but most managers think that's acceptable because "the other employees will ask for more money" THEN ASK THEM TO DO MORE WORK.
Perhaps you are subconsciously worried about not getting where you want to be in life? Either that, or your dream gremlin just likes messing with people's dream schedules.
@@hazukichanx408 you may be onto something, I'm in a nursing home and am trying to take steps necessary to transition to a better living situation. I havent been having those dreams in a while since them.
No pulp personally. And with the earlier question on the cashier thing, we had to make sue we had $100 in the drawer before starting our shift and at the end of it also having $100. This was Taco Bell in 2021.
