that's like the thing with digging through shoestring budget games, you get to learn all the overused assets by heart.

The reason why you see that style of character model a lot is because it's from Synty. They make a ton of low-poly model packs that are often on sale. They're pretty nice for quickly building out stuff, but the characters are so distinct that it's very easy to identify.

It's crazy, that this is one of the better games you played this year. At least its not Just Skill Shooter.
