Yes, but their languages most certainly came from the Pontic-Caspian Steppe, most likely from the Lower Danube and south through the Balkans, along the Black Sea coast..... There is just too much solid scientific proof (not simply evidence) that shows us that the Proto-Indo-Europeans came from the Pontic-Caspian Steppe originally.... I mean, the archaeological record, archaeogenetic evidence, combined with the linguistic evidence adds up to prove that the Pontic-Caspian Steppe was indeed the Urheimat of the Proto-Indo-Europeans..... It would seem that what we see in the case of the Mitanni Empire must have been the case for almost all of Anatolia before the settlement of the Greek speaking tribes on the Aegean coast.... In other words, during the Bronze Age, Indo-Europeans must have had a dominant cultural and linguistic influence in the region, without intermixing much with the locals.... Perhaps, ancient Indo-Europeans conquered the local populations and their religion and language supplanted those of the local peoples, but then the highly-mobile Indo-European tribes moved on and continued in their migrations, after several generations of living and ruling in Anatolia, but marrying only within their own Indo-European tribes, i.e., practicing endogamy..... This would mean that the local Anatolians would have adopted the Indo-European way of life, religion, and language, without actually intermixing with them..... Perhaps, it's kind of what happenedin some parts of Latin America after the Spanish arrival in the 16th century..... Many Spaniards intermixed with the locals right away, but other communities of Indigenous Americans stayed completely separate from the Spaniards.... However, at least over the following couple of centuries, the religion and language of the Spanish still became absolutely dominant, even if the indigenous peoples weren't intermixing much with Spaniards..... Look at Peru and Bolivia, for example.... In those two countries specifically, Kichwa and Aymara are spoken by millions of people who are mostly of indigenous American descent, with only some genetic admixture with people of European/Spanish descent..... However, the majority of the population still speaks Spanish and is Catholic..... This is how Bronze Age Anatolia seems to me.... That is, there were still some noticeable groups of non-Indo-European speaking peoples living in Anatolia, but they were mostly pushed towards the East and Southeast, such as the Hurrians.... However, almost all Anatolians, before the arrival of the Greeks, shared a common Neolithic Anatolian ancestry..... I would suppose that having swift horses and wagons, and later chariots, would have helped the Indo-European tribes remain dominant over local groups, after which, over several generations, those local groups actually began adopting the culture, religion, way of life, and language, of the conquerors..... Perhaps, those Indo-European tribes who continued migrating, made their way to the Armenian Highlands and would eventually become the ancestors of the Armenian people.... but the Proto-Indo-European language that was adopted by local Anatolians was "frozen in time", so to speak, and highly influenced by the neighboring Ancient Near Eastern languages and cultures, and this is how the Ancient Anatolian languages emerged from PIE...

As far as I understand, the pronunciation is based on the hypothetical evolution of the PIE word into Hittite.
