I'm proud to see the overwhelming amount of Husker fans who understand that we need to stay behind coach Frost and be patient. It's hard now, but we need to be patient. He's going to fix this team. Brighter days are ahead.
I am really astonished by comments regarding "staying behind the coach... blah blah blah"... are there really people out there who thought this guy could change this program overnight? Its so silly ... the folks before Scott were soft and gentle coaches who kissed the ass of the player, no such discipline or drive. Its time to sit and take each week like a man and stop apologizing for a loss and swallow the losses as they come... because one day... all the morons now taking a knee with sad faces will be in a tailspin when this coach produces championship after championship... mark my words. Michigan fan here. I’ve always liked Scott Frost as a coach, but after this interview I’m impressed and nervous. Impressed because you can tell in this interview just how much he loves this team and the university. Nervous, because he’s going to be around for a long time and he’s gonna make everyone pay for the way he’s feeling right now. Once he gets the “losers” and deadweight out of his locker room m and gets HIS players on campus and developed, there’s gonna be hell to pay

I like Frost's outlook, but to many fans keep saying give it 3 years. Let him take 6-7 years if that's what it takes. Nebraska had 2 great coaches that were there for 20 years. Give him the whole package deal and relax. They have a long ways to go. If you think in 3-4 years your going back to the 90's your nuts. This is the big 10. He's going to struggle but he's the guy for the long term no matter what.
Patience is the key word here. I've always liked Coach Frost, as a player as well, and I know he's the right man for the job to right the ship in Huskerville. I can't wait to see what they're like in a year or 2. GO BIG RED!!!

Coach Frost wants to know who wants to stay and who wants to go. The irony is that he bolted from his last job with his entire staff for the NU job, showing little or no loyalty for his last job (UCF) nor concern about their long term success. He now demands loyalty and sacrifice that he was unwilling to maintain at his last job. His drug store "National Championship" rings at UCF show his arrogance. While UCF did not lose, they did not play a tough schedule like the Power Five conferences. His implied threats to his current players will not serve the long term. These are young men that now have the chance to transfer and compete for another school without penalty. You lead with inspiration and leadership, not threats. Newsflash: Running your QB 15 times a game gets them hurt quickly. While the spread is effective, it is punishing to QB's and that's why the NFL does not run it except as a surprise. Ask Chip Kelly or others who tried.
2017 UCF could compete with anyone in the country including Alabama who had zero reason being in the CFP. Just because UCF doesn't play in the SEC, doesn't automatically equate them to being an inferior team. Boise State plays in the MWC conference, yet they have time and time again beat all these "P5" vaunted powerhouses. UCF and Boise State would have put Nebraska in the woodshed as well as the vast majority of these so called "Power 5" teams this year or last year. Let's be real, the B10 has tOSU and Wisconsin, the rest are trash. The SEC has Alabama, Auburn, Georgia and LSU. The rest are trash. ACC has Clemson. FSU won't be good for a long time with a terrible coach and Miami is extremely overrated. The Pac-12 is garbage aside from an above average Stanford. B12 has Oklahoma and an above average TCU. Saying UCF's strength of schedule is weak; is a fool's mentality when the vast majority of "P5" teams are extremely overrated/bad. Nebraska will become good eventually, but it's going to take at least 3 years.
CU Buffs fan here...and the Buffs were fortunate to squeak out that win in Lincoln. Martinez is a great player. I'm not sure the Buffs could beat the Troy team that showed up. Teams better kick Nebraska while they're down because when they rise...watch out. Frost was a great hire for Nebraska.
Props to Michigan this week, stepped on the gas and never looked back. Doesn't mean I am not excited to see 3 years from now when Frosty has his guys and we (hopefully) return the favor. :)

Mohamed Barry is the only one who should keep his black shirt this week. Special teams coach needs to go. Same thing over last 3 games: Penalties. Turnovers, Shit special team. Gives up 3 and long . Not improving is my concern.
Id holdout on getting rid of anyone on the staff.. special teams has been an issue of a long..long time... The issue is the personnel we just dont have the guys to run that system the way frost wants to run it... Recruiting will change a lot of that..#gbr

Went to this game and I think that he forgot what a power running game can do. Throwing out wide got them nothing or lost yards. I don't think I have ever seen Nebraska have fewer yards in a game (I was at the Purdue game last year as well). Fewer than 100 total yards going into the 4th quarter. 6 first downs if I remember correctly. I understand this is his first year and most of the players are from Riley (does not mean they are bad players) there is no reason they can't compete. This was embarrassing to watch. I think he can turn it around but you can not rely on one dimension.

Wrong. Spod does not represent The Big Red, not by any means. We fully expected a difficult season, although this is more difficult than we thought. But that's okay. Michigan is an excellent team overall, especially on defense, and everything was clicking for them on Saturday... and that is absolutely fine. I hate to see half a hundred scored on my team but we've done it in the past to a lot of teams ourselves. Best of luck with Harbaugh, hang in there with him, he's going to get you guys where you need to be. That's the same way I feel about the Huskers with Frost. Anyone who calls Michigan a "crappy team" isn't a true Husker fan, because that's such a boneheaded dumb statement.
@@spod11 if you think Nebraksa that beat Colorado would beat Michigan then you are beyond delusional. Michigan is a top 15 team nationally and they are legit. We didn't even play our best offensively and still dropped 6 TDs on you all AND we let our foot off the gas.
