Holdens in America - Pontiac G8 converted Holden Commodore 

Holden recently discontinued the commodores here in Adelaide. Please keep that thing alive in America

Congratulations. looks great .. so lovely seeing a Commodore in the USA looking like it should. I live in Adelaide 2 miles from where your car was made. In the latter years of production we would see car transporters loaded with left hand drive G8 conversions heading to the port to start their life in a new land. Look after her, they really are one of the great cars ever made.

I was never a fan of the G8s "converted" to Commodores but this one is done right. If you're gonna do it you have to go all out like this.

Wow Good Vid Mate . As you say diff /cars in diff /Countrys. ive a VXR 8 HSV in UK.Which is a vauxhall But we don't say that . its a Holden and Proud of it very Rare here .We are like Aussies Drive on the Right / Cheers

Beautiful to see the Holden legacy living on in America. If you really want to look up a beautiful commodore, look up the VK commy. By far the best of all the models.

Cheers mate for trying to embrace the Australian 🇦🇺 love of Holden Commodores the only thing is just being picky is the HSV & SSV are two different cars you should change the rear bumper too to suit the front my I have a Pontiac front bumper on mine plus the SS front bumper hanging on my wall in my man can thinking of changing the whole front end to a VF SS We will see

Cool g8 my man. Great job. Koza Performance is doing my Chevrolet ss build built motor and his turbo kit and all. Please replace you airbag with a real oem air bag. That wheel cap emblem it hurt your face if you wreck

Am trying to get a base commodore front and hood for my g8 gt

Actually it was a holden commodore shipped to the states (and its actually not a commodore , commodores are base model 6 cylinder cars ) converted to a G8 and converted back again !

Looking into getting a g8 gt my only draw back is how reliable and how well does it hold up with mods??

U have the wrong front bumper and bonnet your using the HSV front bumper and bonnet and the side HSV decals have the wrong logo to it mate
