i think the biggest issue thats ignored, is to blitz, they were never dating, it was blitz prostituting himself to a prince for his dinner ticket. which completely changes how to look at it, blitz wasnt being bad in a relationship, because blitz was never in a relationship, just something to make sure him and the only people he seems to care about can keep their jobs and money.

My guess is when his family will summon him to "judge" him, he will have a defense-attorney who provides proof that their relationship is actually the "morally acceptable" master-servant dynamic. Stolas sees many scenes where he put Blitz down, realizes his own hyprcrity and bombs his own defense.

as an artist, I've also noticed that with the constant excusing of Stolas's behavior coincided with a sudden change in how the animators draw him face-wise, he used to have a much more narrow face, squinted eyes and a decidedly more "smug" appearance, but ever since the episode where they were children, they kept drawing him with the rounder baby face, wider eyes and generally "cuter" appearance.

I'm really hoping Octavia gives it to him, no holds barred. Stolas has done some serious damage to Blitz that he doesn't even notice, but he's been doing Via just as dirty. If he isn't dismissing or ignoring her to fight with Stella, he's doing it to flirt or fight with Blitz. Even at Loo Loo Land he was making excuses for his behavior instead of apologizing and acknowledging what he was doing was hurting her, and Via is smart enough to notice these things and the larger pattern. And she is brave enough and so sick of it that she has nothing to lose in telling her dad off. This is just me yammering, I would imagine we're getting close to her being 18 now. I could see her possibly becoming a target to the Goetia for their own machinations. Or maybe on her 18th birthday, she decides to leave and try and make it on her own and tells her dad off when he tries to change her mind. We see her with Loona in product art sometimes, so maybe she goes to her to help figure out her life. Who knows. I'm just gonna sit here waiting for Stolas to get a wake-up call for being a dickbag.

the thing that gets me is that when blitz tells stolas "i don't understand why you'd love me", stolas never actually gives a proper response. he doesn't explain why he loves blitz, he just says he wants someone to love HIM. it almost sounds like he's saying that anyone will do, so long as they care about him. it just proves that they never really had a relationship and don't even know that much about each other beyond surface-level things. i hope this separation will give them a chance to actually learn who they are as people without any transactional factors affecting it, but we'll see what the show actually does with them.

I'm kinda worried that Blitz will be treated as "the one in the wrong" the whole time as they have been doing recently and they act like Stolas is in the clear where as he said he'd give Blitz a choice, then assumes his choice and gets mad at him for his assumption of his choice.

The calendar is hand written. Blitz doesn't know how Months work, and probably didn't think about it too much. In character, and entirely relatable. If you think about Blitz being unable to keep track of time effectively, which he usually doesn't, then it would be easy to see that he legitimately didn't think it was October, didn't think that October started on a Thursday, or overlooked the fact that you can write 31 on the calendar on the same line and date as the beginning of the week by cutting the square in half. It would not surprise me if he flipped that month over and it started with the 31st for the next day to be the 1st. Happens.

I’m fine with apology tour personally because it was needed for Blitz to finally get to the point where Stolas is at in actually WANTING their dynamic to be more than just sex. Their relationship was a non starter if Blitz didn’t want a true relationship to happen. I think Apology Tour was perfect in making Blitz painfully self aware of how his own self hatred is hurting others when he’s been under the false assumption that him denying committed relationships was somehow helping the other person because his own opinion of himself is so low. And I get the feeling Stolas is going to get his own reality check very soon… if he doesn’t it will be a problem, but it’s far to early to stress over until we see where this story’s heading.

If it becomes true that Stolas loses his status, title and his royal life then that means he’s going to have to learn what’s life without having everything granted to you on a silver platter. Cause Stolas doesn’t understand low class or what’s it like to live a poor life. So I feel that would teach him what’s it like for imps that work manual labor jobs and give him a better perspective on blitz and his work and everything in his life. I was so grateful when they people came out of the woodwork contesting stolas claims after the entire fandom turned on blitz. I was like damn finally both sides are in the wrong ! All you were missing was being captured by the dhorks after stolas rescued them how he patronized them blitz included .

I think the people who like Stolitz, actually love the concept more then the reality. The concept being a cute pairing of two opposites, both an enemy to lovers and childhood romance package. Reality though is two dysfunctional adults who should just avoid one another as they worsen each other. Stolas needs to be a dad to Octavia and stop guilting Blitz, and Blitz should just focus on being less shitty.

Please prove me wrong, but my sense of Helluva Boss is that it hasn't been as carefully and deliberately plotted and written as we would like or as we would've plotted and written it ourselves, and that characters have been repeatedly retconned or pulled in new directions just based on *vibes.* I get the impression that once Stolas started being written as a sympathetic sad woobie, the writing team forgot how he came across in the earliest episodes.

23:55 - Blitzo also apologised TO STOLAS at the end of OZZIE'S when he refused to spend the night after their night out.

I feel like the show is trying to retcon everything from the episodes prior to "Ozzie's". I mean, they bluntly ignore all the times Stolas has been thirsty and all the pet names he used on Blitzo.

I think Stolas' comment about Striker is just another example of him NOT treating Blitz as an equal or with respect. Sure doylistically the shot subplot was a meaningless diversion to keep Blitz away so he could get shocked by Stolas' condition, but watsonianly Loona needed potentially lifesaving preventative treatment that she's supposed to have yearly, that she hasn't had in 5 years and probably won't have for another 5 years. If Blitz had to reschedule, it would have meant risking Loona's well being and probably her LIFE given we're talking about HELL rabies (I'd assume it's not better than earth rabies). Stolas would do the same damn thing as Blitz if he was in the same position caught between Blitz being in danger and needing help and Octavia's life being unavoidably at risk everyday for 5 more years if she didn't get a vaccine. And he'd probably call the same two people to help too, despite not knowing Moxxie and Millie exceptionally well from what we've seen, because he knows they're capable enough that Blitz trusts them. At least Blitz seemed to seriously consider working out some way to go for Stolas himself before Moxxie offered, and even still he seemed reluctant to not be there for him. I don't know if Stolas would accept that trade off with Octavia if he DIDN'T have someone else available to save Blitz's life. I genuinely think if he had no other options, he'd just be like "I will be there as soon as I can, but I have to take care of my daughter first and that's going to take a while." And yet he's really giving Blitz shit for not personally coming to save him, when HE KNOWS Blitz was taking care of his daughter, KNOWS it was for her Hellbies shot, KNOWS it took 5 years to get the appointment and would thus probably take another 5 to reschedule, and KNOWS Blitz personally sent the two most capable combat specialists he knows to save him in his stead as soon as he possibly could. Honestly I wish Blitz would've gone all mama bear at that shit and torn Stolas a new one like "EXCUSE YOU, WOULD YOU LET VIA GET RABIES FOR ME?! BC IF SO I DON'T NEED TO THINK ANYMORE, MY FEELINGS ARE FU-" like OF COURSE he's going to choose his daughter over you dude. THAT'S HIS DAUGHTER.

The funny thing is, I had a dream about Stolas living with Blitzo and working for him, about a month or so ago lmao. Octavia was there too and they were arguing like a married couple.

Not only has Blitz apologized in front of Stolas, he's apologized to Stolas. Two and a half times. He said he was sorry that he couldn't rescue Stolas because he was taking Loona to the doctor/vet, and he said he was sorry after the clusterfuck disaster that was Ozzie's. But I suppose asking Stolas to remember every word Blitz has ever spoken is a tall order, especially when the feefees are so strong.

What some people don’t know or realize that was confirmed by Brandon Rogers aka the voice of Blitz is that Viv already knows how helluva boss is going to end and he and some others knew how it was going to end near the start of the series. So this isn’t some writing and changing things up because how the fans will react like other shows no Vivian has a vision and an ending for Helluva Boss. Hazbin hotel is a different story since it all depends how many episodes the studio is allowing them to have per season.

Stolas fans: “Just be patient! Stolas will get called out.” Yeah like by the end of the year in December. What they don’t realize is we have to wait MONTHS for these episodes like the next one won’t even be about stolas it’ll be about blitz and his issues again. This show spends more time calling out blitz than it ever does stolas People say “but viv does know Stolas is also wrong! She didn’t forget!” Yeah and she said Millie would get her own development and we’ve been waiting YEARS for her to get some. The most we got was in that cringe camp episode which was mostly overshadowed by moxie’s issues and blitz’s thing with barb. The other was a short with Sallie which was rushed cause it was a short. Face it Millie still gets done dirty despite what viv says so unless she actually shows that she will call out stolas I’m not buying it. Her word isn’t enough. Action speaks louder than words. So yeah it’s fair of sarcastic chorus and people like us to criticize the writing we see right now. Stolas hasn’t been called out by anyone in the show except blitz and Octavia. Eveyone else babies him like he’s the victim. While blitz is treated like a monster and octavia as overreacting.

As much as I'd like them to end up together, when you really look at things......it shouldn't happen. It's like their trying to retcon/rewrite season 1 because they *didn't* look ahead and are now desperately trying to backtrack to make stolitz canon in the end

I know my last relationship was fucked up bc apology tour was like holding up a mirror to the shit we put each other through for 2 years. They had the exact same insecurities and bad habits as blitzø, and I definitely had a social power imbalance over them, and dropped small hints and kept giving outs bc I felt like I was taking advantage of them. We literally decided to have a sexual relationship in exchange for emotional support bc we were both in bad places and had just been hurt. That was how it started and then we both caught feelings (obviously). Every interaction between Stolas and Blitz gives me flashbacks and it’s humiliating. It even tracks as people often only blamed them for our issues, when I was also to blame for not being direct and ignoring the social power imbalance. Each episode makes me cringe bc of how accurate it is.

I’m saying I’m praying for Stolas’ downfall, if he has to end up working for Blitzø I’d love that :D

Put your therapist glasses on Fizz. You may be our only hope. But honestly, please just have Blitzo go to Fizz and tell him about what happened. Fizz has a healthy relationship, and would see the red flags in both. Fizz starts with what Stolis did and then asks what Blitzo did in response. Fizz would also go off on him, causing Blitzo to leave. Fizz upset, and genuinely wanting to help Blitzo now, would talk to Oz about how he doesn't know what to do. Oz decides to call Stolis to his office, and Fizz would say he is going to surprise Blitzo with something(while implying it involves horses) and blind fold him. Then have Oz teleport Blitzo into the office, while the King of lust and his boyfriend dig these guys a grave, and trows them in to figure out their shit.

The amount of people now pointing out stolas is gold, it was always framed that blitz was the main issue but never looked at stolas and ignoring what he did originally even if he attempted to change it

Can we talk about how strange that party is? Like, conceptually? We can see that at least some of these people never had an actual relationships with Blitz; there are people there who he hooked up with, or who he just drunkenly made out with once (Denis). Are we supposed to buy that their brief interactions with Blitz were so traumatic that they now attend an annual "fuck that guy" party? We might assume that for the majority of the attendees, its just an excuse to get drunk and dance. There are worse ways to spend a Halloween. But then we see a lot of them having (seemingly) genuine emotional breakdowns, being comforted by other attendees. Verosika talks about the party like its a support group for people trying to "recover" from meeting Blitz, and it seems like that's how we're supposed to see the party. It's just... weird. To me, it felt like an attempt to further demonize Blitz to the audience. "Oh, you thought that Stolas was equally responsible for the implosion of their relationship? Nuh-uh, look at how many other people Blitz ruined!" Am I alone in this? 👀

ngl i feel like the writing in the actual show for stolitz is pretty realistic - like, it makes sense that stolas hasn't been held accountable yet and can only start his self-reflection journey with octavia. the entire stolas self-reflection thing really begins in seeing stars, where he was about to apologize to octavia but octavia shut him down because she (very understandably) cared more about him just being there in the moment than him apologizing which, once again, is super fair. i feel like in that sitatution, it definitely would've been better for stolas to at least apologize to octavia the next day or something, but i find it realistic how in that situation you can think, "well, we're already over it, and it'd just bring up bad memories - we should just move on" but that only actually works when you've learnt from it, instead of just glazing over it and pretending it never happened which im assuming is what stolas probably ended up doing. then the next time stolas tries to be self aware is during his song at verosika's party but that instantly gets shut down which, although wrong, makes sense cause this isnt actually a "lets heal from our break up and learn to forget about our ex and use it as a learning experience and move on!!", its a "lets bond over the fact we all got our hearts broken by that loser jerk blitzo!!!" party. it also makes sense that blitz personally wont be holding stolas accountable in the super soon future, because he's just now understanding what HE's done wrong in the relationship. plus, he's realizing how much he wants/loves stolas; blitz is def not gonna point out stolas's issues while trying to apologize/make amends, cuz it'll just sound like an excuse to stolas who isnt self-aware enough yet - another reason why it'll have to be octavia or just stolas being smarter to get him to realize him to own up to his own mistakes. also is it just me or did that first scene in apology tour seem pretty in character? like i can understand blitz's thought process: he knows he messed up bad, but he's not quite sure how to fix it and he doesnt know how to talk about it, so instead he should just find something they both like which is- you guessed it: being in bed!! like have yall never fought with a friend or sibling and then when you wanna make up but you're not sure how to do it you bring up an thing you both like to forget about the fight? like ive done this a few times myself to my siblings (plus had it done to me), but it really only works if BOTH people want to forget about the fight and move on, which stolas clearly didnt want to do - also stolas being like "go away!! oh btw you were literally the worst for this and also there's this party about hating you" seems so accurate??? like its stupid for sure, but i cant be the only one whose seen this happen before?? like thats so petty-human of him to do anyways those were just my thoughts that ive been stewing up for the past little while, but please do keep in mind that im not justifying stolas or blitz or whoever; its more like im just saying the actions of these characters seem pretty realistic which makes them very available to sympathy which is why so many people are defending them. ill also be upset if they dont handle stolas's fixer-upper arc well and just give him a slap on the wrist

Okay, I haven't actually watched this beyond the first minute or so(just got through the mini compilation of Stolas calling blitz by pet names and teasing him) But yeah, as much as I like Stolas and think his dad and ex-wife are awful, I do think he deserves to be called out for the following: Not picking up that blitz hates the pet names Showing little regard for him when he was in a precarious situation (seriously, did he NOT hear bullets flying by blitz and gunfire? Stop the dirty talk and save him!) Expecting him to suddenly know that he has real feelings for him when he's given him VERY little reason to know that Will likely think of other things, and your video may not be about that at all, but I like to guess, now to watch it and see what happens.

It would be so interesting if you debated Danny Motta on this. He's very much team Stolas even if he has started acknowledging that he may have a small part to play in the relationship breakdown recently.

I'd be perfectly happy if both Blitz and Stolas could get back to a point of genuine friendship. I don't need them to be in a sexual relationship. There's supposed to be two more seasons after this one, so hopefully there will be enough space for that to happen. Having said that, I also don't want this to turn into the Blitz & Stolas show either. Other characters need their moment in the spotlight too.

I’m sorry.”

i dont know why i dont hear people talk about this but Stolas realizing Blitz never told him about Striker is that unlike the petty thieves that Stolas takes care of at the end of E2 S1, Striker has heavenly weapons (idk the full name). And if it wasnt for Blitz stopping him the first time Stolas couldve very well been dead. Whenever Blitz knew or not im surprised Moxxie never said anything. I'm honestly surprise many people think Stolas isn't going to get consequences when it very much implied he very much going to have it. Like we have Octavia calling him out, they just first have to call out Blitzo and they can't both be called out at the same time. Their issues are both incredibly different and have to be handled differently, Stolas needs his daughter to tare into him and the other goetia calling it out or even noting how it just some fling. While as we see Blitzo needed to see how exactly he hurts others so I am eager to see how it going to be handled. So I say I be patient since it clear Stolas issues are going to come to a head~

Honestly? I would think it'd be more emotionally resonant for them to not get back together. Two lovers who realize that there's simply too much between them to start over again, but ultimately better for it as the experience with one another helps them evolve as people. And if you're still wanting that type of relationship in the show, there's still Asmodeus and Fizz. But this is Vivziepop's writing, and if she wants something to happen, then it will happen, regardless of what would be best for the characters both in terms of story and tone.

We defo need a major stolas reflection and growth character arc in the show. Cause without that it’s just feels like the series forgets that it takes two to tango

Just briefly on the timeline thing, I feel likes it's pretty possible the Blitz just hasn't touched his calendar (aka its behind). Because if you look closely at the calendar, there's 3 more pages after it, so 3 more months in this year. So unless Full Moon happened in September and we had a month timeskip, Blitz just hasn't changed the calendar (which based on the stains and tears on it seems likely).
