Well, the whole plot of this show revolves around a high dose of hypocrisy, we see it all the time, they say one thing to the cameras and then behave exactly the opposite. Supes pretend to be something they are not to be accepted by people and to be able to justify all their actions, and people do exactly the same to not be harmed by them. Everyone is trying to blackmail and manipulate each other to get what they want. It's a fair representation of what the dynamics between people and supes would be in real life
For the people calling Firecracker hypocrite here's the thing: when people are calling you something you end up to think you are and to act like that something (like Nick from Zootopia, everyone saw him as a liar so he ended up acting like a liar)
