Nah, this isn't a Karen. She's clearly not ok mentally. You can see her arguing with the nonexistent person next to her, she was making loud and disturbing noises for no reason which was scaring the kid, and even though it's blurry, you can see the look of mental instability on her face. A lot of homeless people have this problem from years of drug abuse. She most likely has no grip on reality and her inhibitions died a long time ago
Lol XD But Yeah you should prolly be careful depending where you live, you never know how easy to act in self defence only for someone to pull an uno reverse card on you.
yes, there are some people that get homeless for reasons beyond their control....but all the others are homeless for a reason and it has to do with them personally.
Being homeless doesn't give you a free pass to hurt someone. edit: yall its me from 9 months after this comment was posted. holy fck this is cringe why did i comment this its literally so obvious 👁️👄👁️
People are defending the homeless woman because she is black. You can't ask a black person to leave any establishment, that's racist....Welcome to the new American norm.
I used to work as master barista in a cafe and we had a homeless person who would come in and always cause trouble. The cafe i worked in was part of a department store and the store managers would never do anything about this man, even though we were all scared of him. He would randomly start shouting and breaking things, and most of the cafe staff were either women in their early 20s or approaching retirement. I can't tell you how terrified I was every time this man came in, because of how unpredictable he was especially, I never served him at the till thankfully my older colleague would, i was only 20 at the time and I'm quite small so it was even more intimidating.
Yep. Im glad some of my tax dollars are going towards mental health treatment and care for the homeless but if we are providing support for people we should also be holding them fully accountable. She should be arrested and tried like anyone else.
I’m glad to see she wasn’t hurt badly! Allowing her to be inside was already a gift in itself and this person didn’t appreciate the generosity.. she just ruined it for any others looking for a small hand out 😔
@end of daze The owner stated that the women's behavior has never been like that in the past, I don't think its Schizophrenia. Could be on drugs and/or having delusions.
@@cat-wq2sk did anyone ask? you are not the poster child for schizophrenia. don't act like your personal experiences or ability to function means no one else can be capable of doing things you aren't. hate people like this who get offended over shit that doesn't apply to them and acts like everyone with an illness/disorder is the same
She needs to be in a physic ward or mental rehabilitation shes clearly crazy. She was talking to herself or some imaginary figure before she snapped. If shes in jail shes prolly in Solitary bc she hurt other inmates and COs too
I was thinking the same! Jail might actually be good for her, like she’d be fed, given chores and productive things to do, be under supervision by the guards so she couldn’t randomly go attacking people. Win-win I guess 🤷♀️
@@jayydexter i agree with you, i think she needs some kind of psychological help rather than incarceration. Her behavior seemed like it. She wasnt triggered in any way, she just assaulted the waitress out of pure impulsiveness, that shows lack of empathy. Anyways its not my place to comment how she must be treated, but its just sad that shit like this happens, waitress must have been frustrated as shit.
lol just bec you have it all together... dont mean we all need to be perfect. "normal" . obviously shes not sane.. if she WAS SANE, GO AHEAD PRESS CHARGES BUT you dont know
@@irenehernandez1715 What are you talking about? Maybe you need to go back and read my comment again. I've worked with & have taken care of mentally ill population for years....you know what, whatever. You can gather from my comment what you wish. This is RU-vid, it's not that serious.
If she goes to jail, she'd have a roof above her head and something to eat every day. It's better if that soulless person is out on the streets with nothing.
My mom works at a bar very late at night and homeless people walk in and out whenever they want. Usually my mom will take care of them (offer them jobs, get them water or food, etc.) But some are very... Rude. Sometimes they eat off of others plates or others drinks and one time, A homeless man stole the donations for foster children. It was terrible, and we had to call the cops. Never found him again.
I worked in a bakery that was close to a government shoot up sight. No one was allowed in or able to use the restrooms unless they were well kempt and paying customers. We dealt with too many people using hard drugs in the bathrooms and a couple overdoses. I have zero remorse or patience left for those people.
if you really don't let people in BATHROOMS because they're unkempt, even if they pay, that's still messed up. it's kinda cruel to punish every homeless person that may just wanna wash up because some people were addicts. idek if these addicts were violent and if they weren't that's even worse because they didn't hurt anyone like in this video. remember that you could always become homeless, have the day you deserve
@@idiotchild. well we got sick of dealing with the violence and overdoses, it was almost on a daily basis. We were sick of having dirty needles piled up in front of our entrances and blood spattered on our windows and walls along with other bodily fluids, we were sick of having to call the cops, sick of having to replace our front window every month, (and yes we know who caused the damages, we had cameras) I understand that anyone can become homeless at anytime, but for our safety and the families safety that would bring their children in to eat and enjoy their day, we kept the other people out… “Have the day you deserve” 🥴 like that line hasn’t been overused by too many people trying to be sanctimonious
A doughnut shop is not a homeless shelter. The owner is too kind, and that can be bad for business as well as for safety. Homeless people have higher chance of being drug addicts, alcoholics and criminals, not to mention their stentch. I would keep anyone out of the shop who isn't a paying customer, low hygiene, or looks suspicious.
The system sees no money from the homeless person.. wht arrest her. They lose money, shelter, food, personal hygiene. That's the system we live in... sad
Not all homeless people are like this. Just because one homeless person throws hot coffee at a staff member does not mean all homeless people will do this. Not all of them are drug users/criminals too. You should never judge a book by its cover. You will never know the real reason why they are homeless (obviously drugs and crimes but there’s more). It could be either they have family issues, having mental health issues, or they lost a job/business.
Back when I was doing security I had to protect a homeless white woman while she was sleeping caught a homeless black man walking down the sidewalk jacking off on camera and he was across the street looking at her. Once he look like he was headed towards the woman I ran outside to confront him then he took offmy boss told me to call the cops next time but the police are only here for the aftermath they don't prevent anyting so I had to make a decision
raymond keith I don’t want to offend you but I want to warn you, people may come after you for putting race into your comment. Just try saying “homeless man” and “homeless woman” you know how people do the whole black V.S white thing
I bet she already become target to the other homeless's anger for ruined their sanctuary of warm and coffees during rain or chilling coldness at night😓
Lol, what could that possibly mean? 😂😂😂 Have you ever been homeless? If not, then don’t judge. You would act the same way if someone else forced you out into the cold. It was self-defense.
@@dreamwithinadreamfilmsself defense?! The homeless lady was being weird and scaring the child and the worker asked her kindly to leave and instead of the homeless lady leaving she threw hot coffee thats assault
I used to work in a coffee shop and multiple times people had thrown their drinks at us and we had them escorted out by security. Thankfully no injuries beyond slights burns, but still entirely unacceptable. I vividly remember one customer telling me to make his coffee extra hot and that if it wasn't hot enough he'd throw it at my face. I calmly told him that if he threw it at my face he would find out how quickly I could climb over the counter to stuff my fist down his throat. He looked at my manager and my manager had walked to stand behind him and said that if he so much as raised his cup above his head he would mess him up. One of my regulars stood on his other side and promised to rip his manhood off if he did. I burned the shit out of his coffee, made it hot as hellfire and told him he could get out and that I'd call security if I saw him near the shop again.
This is why people are rude to the homeless. Lots of them don't deserve it, but the mass majority are terrible people and I will not ever go out at night because all they look to do is hit licks and every other known problem as to why we even have homeless spikes and other things to remove homeless people altogether. It's terrible looking on towns and cities. You may as well suffer to death, but I do agree for religious reasons that killing yourself isn't the way to go
Go get a life. Doing a stupid act like that and ruining peoples day isnt something we should defend. No matter who you are, you still have the power to control your action the owner has the rights to do so. And not the homless woman.
@@girlgodess2193 respect has it. Respect the owner for being so nice but in return she throws the coffee at her. No human being can respect someone like her and someone like you.
@@girlgodess2193 i dont need to respect her for defending the homeless woman. Because what she did and now people like her are defending her is disgusting.
I feel like arresting a homeless person would benefit them. Because they'll be in a nice warm cell with food, clothes, bed and a shower. I mean it would be a homeless person's dream to go to prison.
People have different circumstances for how they become homeless. For all we know, she could have started behaving erradically as way to take her homelessness out on society. But her behavior isn't justified all the same.
Did you listen to the reporter? The homeless woman was wailing and being loud. Of course the kid was disturbed. It wasn't a sixth sense or because kids can tell what bad people are. Kinda why kids are too trusting and taught not to talk to strangers.
Imagine that you're homeless, you get enough change to go and buy a coffee or some donuts and warm up and instead of enjoying it, you decide that you're gonna throw it all at someone's face. That's not a homeless person, that's a bum.
@@bowlingbbabe I thought open door just allowed homeless people to go in and have a seat to warm up or read something, not free products. Nevertheless, being free is making it even worse than having to pay for it.
@@leannejay yes you can. I have done so when I was younger. How can you better your situation if its not possible? Rely on charity from strangers? Hardly. You have a very closed-minded attitude.
@@ScarletBrimstone I'm not. My parents have both worked with charities around where they live, and they provide accomodation with an address so they can start working. You cannot work a proper job without an address. It's not close minded, it's me literally relaying the law.
@Mr Saw You ignored her message and trash talked her for her pfp and name? are you a grown adult? is that how you treat people in the internet? judging from her pfp and name (my assumption) she's just a kid. And you're going around the internet saying that?
@Mr Saw do you somewhat feel superior for this act of behavior which is immature? I hate gacha but I don't hate the community and just ignore and let them be, you on the other hand is just plain immature.
Awww come on. Don’t generalize homeless people that way. This lady in particular obviously has serious issues, but as a cashier, I’ve had more WAY more problems with entitled Karens than homeless people. Sometimes a homeless person is just sitting there, and my co-workers are annoyed simply by their presence. If they’re respectful, then they’re a customer and they aren’t defined by their living situation.
@@David.124 that is wrong they smell because they don't have a home and you know why because of this shitty government and talking about them like THAT about them will get a coffee thrown in your face shit I'd throw lava
Yeah but one homeless person shouldn’t be able to ruin it for everyone. Think about it this way, a businessman comes in all rude and throws hot coffee at a worker.... does that mean all businessmen shouldn’t be allowed service?
This is literally why homeless people have a bad name Edit: I’m not saying all homeless people are bad, I’m saying homeless people have a bad reputation because people act like this. Get it right.
rather this is one of the reasons why we discriminate them but we should all take in mind that there might be some other homeless people who are unknownly good I am not trying to defend them I just still want to believe that there might be some good homeless people out there or atleast I want to believe
@@voracities well yes I do agree with that But in my whole life every homeless person I usually see are quite high/crazy But I do want to meet/learn of a good one

Why I dislike most homeless. When they’re not happy they act out in violence and rage. Spend the money you give them on drugs, and alcohol. Pointless. Too bad there’s very few good ones around.
@@adamd6648 I used to work at a donut shop as well. I’ve seen a lot of bad ones more than good homeless folks. But the bad ones have pick fights with me. There was one who really though punking me (a 5’2 Asian woman) would be funny. So I put my paws up and let him know I’ll throw hands. He never messed with me again. Lol
The owner said the homeless person was talking to herself and being loud. Mental health problems, prolly hearing voices, do not confront anyone in this kind of state. Even the child was scared. First step should have been to call police.
I used to work at McDonald’s and sometimes the coffee would be so hot u can barely hold the cup I can’t imagine how someone could throw a hot coffee at someone’s face and not be arrested. She could’ve went blind from that easily. I can’t imagine the pain she went through. That’s literally assault. My bf works at Starbucks and this homeless guy comes into their store all the time and a couple days ago that homeless guy went into the bathroom for 10 min came out. Then the manager told my bf to check the bathroom and their was shit smeared on the mirror, the walls, the sink, all over the floor and their wasn’t even shit on the toilet. They had to close down that bathroom and now people have to come in with hazmat suits and clean it because of this sick f*^ck
her husband should have smashed that crackhead and tossed her out of the store onto her ass. honestly you're gonna let someone throw hot coffee in your wifes face wtf..
Konrad Kjaer it is clear that many many homeless have drug and alcohol issues and mental illness, they are put out on the street to fend for themselves. So what do you think is the answer for LA's large mental health people problem? Note I agree with you but the problem is much larger than this one issue, so what would you do? In many states they have the same issues with fast food restaurants being the go to place for warmth for the homeless who are eventually asked to leave, but seriously what do you suggest to control this expanding state wide problem?
Even if she was arrested. She would be cited out before she even got to jail. This is considered a misdemeanor and in case you didn’t know, the District Attorney is decriminalizing everything. Good job LA County. Keep voting for the people who are stomping on our rights and catering to the sick, lame and lazy

I worked with an old Hispanic lady for a few years. She liked me at first, but after a couple years he started hating me and told me to go back where I came from. On my last day she was extra mean and hateful, and my boss defended her saying, “she’s just old” Being old is no excuse for hatefulness!
this first reminded me of that one time i got thrown out of a pizza-place while drinking coffee at a single-chair table, because i had my eyes closed for an extended time to relax myself, but i was prompted "not to sleep in the shop", so i left in silence. it's weird that we don't get to see the behavior which allegedly scared the kid, that makes the claim seem dubious, but that's of course no reason for the homeless to throw coffee on the employee. as for scared kids, i visited a friends sister a few times, and her daughter would be scared of me by default, and the trigger would be that i looked her daughter in the eyes, which i would do automatically sometimes when her daughter was looking at me, and her daughter would recoil and grimace and clutch at her mother, despite of me trying to emulate my best behavior. so i do question the validity of the homeless being thrown out, but again, there's of course not enough reason for the homeless to throw hot coffee on the employee. something that i take special note of, is that the homeless lady was physically turned away from the complainer and the kid, which must be intentional in order to diminish her own presence, and this does indicate some level of diplomacy. idk, the news loves to be unclear, as the news are more about the entertainment value than the information value.
