You are gonna need a support bracket on that muffler. Otherwise your gonna crack the casting on the engine. It’s fine with the little muffler but with that long pipe will have a lot of leverage on it and the vibration will crack it over time.

Nice work, it's a bit quieter. If you like it quieter still you can lose the mesh and fibreglass wrapping, cut the perforated tube in two and weld the middle shut, then weld it back together. Then all the gas has to go through the holes, to the outside between the perforations and the housing, and then back through the holes to the middle again. That is really whisper quiet.

Use screws instead of rivets, then u can remove the unit wrap fiberglass, then slide it back into housing..then put screws back in..

First off, what a great job brother, the one thing, that I'm wondering is that most engines are Engineered to have a certain amount of Back Pressure {on exhaust stroke} to maximize the power, fuel efficiency and last but not least control the noise volume. I thought it applied to every engine ever built, but I could be out of tune with the way engineering is done now, so please let Me know, if I'm thinking wrong here. Outstanding muffler build and though a bit over done on the exhaust pipe. Only thing is I hope you at least had something to stop metal shavings from going into the head of the engine. Great video none the less. Thank you for being through, good sir.

on top of the frame not under it or the first time you ground it you will wreck the engine outlet port/exhaust/manifold, the middle tube should be holed all over, and steel wool is better, loosely packed, but very good to watch the build.

Svaka cast majstore, fabrika ti nije ravna :D Samo, moj ti je predlog da obavezno dodas jednu selnu na samom topu ili na cevku tik ispod njega i vezes je negde za ram(pogledaj kako je reseno na vecini motora). Dugacka je cev od cilindra do topa i popustice ti neki var ili ce ti pocupati slabasne brezone na cilindru pri prvoj vecoj rupi(vidis i sam koliko se top klati u radu cak i ovako u leru, a tu deluje zakon poluge). I ne mogu da provalim po snimku da li si koristio kamenu ili staklenu vunu? U sustini rade isti posao ali u auspuhe fabrika stavlja i preporucuje se prilikom zamene kamena jer je kao nesto trajnija od staklene(ne znam koliko je to tacno iskreno) a i povoljnija je sto se svraba i udisanja tih zajebanih, ostrih cestica tice :D Mada je to u sustini nebitno, ali cisto da znas za ubuduce, ako vec nabavljas bolje uzmi kamenu(ako vec i sad nisi). Sve ostalo je, sem te spomenute dodatne selne, za 10+ :D

Не понял про глушитель... Для чего было сверлить отверстия во внутренней трубке, обматывать сеткой, затем пихать утеплитель... Газы всеравно попадают сразу во внутреннюю трубку прямотоком, в чём смысл?
