The knee is much better thanks. Now to get through the next few weeks without breaking my body so I can go fishing!

Hope the knee is working good for you. I hope to avoid that but it looks like it runs in the family. They are getting pretty good at replacing knees so that’s nice.

The knee is all better for now. The seat was such a pain because I took it apart a week before and then forgot how it goes back together. Hahs.

I looked at those once but they weren’t metric so I was afraid they wouldn’t work as well on imports. 😀

The Car Doctor I understand. Many of my tools suffered the transition to metric. Especially in the 80s when the big three threw metric in randomly just so I could round them off!

This was actually a pretty nice job. Beats dropping the tank to access the pump. Just need a little more room in the back seat so I can get my fat butt in there.

My brother avoided damage to himself and the truck he was working on. We were draining the gas out of a 67 Ford stake body truck. First thing my brother did was get out the fire extinguisher and put it next to the truck then he went under the truck and removed a gas line. Well sometimes when you want something to siphon you can't get it to work and other times when you don't want a siphon it automatically starts. With the removal of the line gas started pouring out and before he could get the bucket under the flow coming down the gas hit the drop light and popped the bulb and instant flame. Grabbed the extinguisher and outtened the light as Thomas might say. Everyone and everything was safe because safety first is a good thing and a smart thing to remember.
