Honda VTX 1300C Stock Exhaust Mod

This video is all you need to modify the exhaust on your stock Honda VTX 1300C to sound as tough as it looks. I love this bike, but two things you have to alter on it, are the seats and then the exhaust.

I did that same mod on my 1300 VTX and love it. It's has a nice deep rumble without being annoyingly loud like most after market pipes. I rejetted my carb by using two washers under the needle and opening up the air jet a little so it runs like it should. I've done the same mod to my 750 Shadow and my 1100 Shadow and they all sound great!

Trying it as soon as I get back from hardware store. I removed the baffles on my boulevard and it Didn't sound nearly as good. Good video.

It all depends on the type/brand of muffler you are doing it to. Some brands just sound better than others so when you remove the baffles. Hondas just happen to sound good with the holesaw mod done to them. My 750 and 1100 Shadow also sounded great by sawing out the baffles. I wasn't a bit surprised to hear my 1300 after I removed them. It's so much better than spending $350-$400 for after market pipes and gives the bike a deep rumble without the big crack and nasty ear shattering noise.

Hi...I've got the Mustang seats and the Paladin sissybar/luggage rack. Love both, and they are of great quality.

Nice hack, can you tell me if the exhaust got rust or got any "damage" in long terms and did you notice any change on the motorcycle performance (maybe head) ? nuby here.

Hi. I sold the motorcycle about 4 years ago, but no I didn't notice any performance issues and no rust. Cheers
