❤❤❤ every Friday night of my childhood was spent with big chuck and hoolihan. I miss those days so much. Not so good in 2024, we might go out with a bang, 😮
Man, that takes me back to my childhood! I used to love Hoolihan and Big Chuck. It was the only night I was allowed to stay up and watch TV. And that big laugh...the whole time I was watching that clip, I was waiting for that laugh! Classic!
I absolutely LOVED this show. I can remember many Friday nights staying up till 2+am to here "Is that all there is" playing at the end. My how times have changed. It seems almost unacceptable to let kids stay up till 2am on a Friday night! Thanks for sharing!!
MAAAN!!! those were the days!! BC&H, SH and the G. I remember the old channel 61. Back in the day when TV was TV. The skits on all 3 shows were funny and the movies, oh those great movies with Chaney, Lugosi, Karloff, Carradine, etc. I cried when Hoolihan left for Florida, never cared much for Little John even though some of his skits were funny. Loved Big Chuck and I remember when he had those kidney stones and how he described how it felt when they finally passed, lol. Channels 61 and 43 had the best cartoons and serials Speed Racer, Kinda, the White Lion, Johnny Saako and his Flying Robot, The Stooges, Leon Errol, etc. Marty Sullivan was hilarious as Super Host and I always thought it was surreal to see him him deliver the news. Remember Lou Gordon who had a weekend talkshow, I think on Sundays???? The good ol' days😊😊😊
J Dial Those. WERE the days, my friend. We had the best of times. The Outer Limits was a good show.and of course Star Trek; favorite episode is the one featuring the Tribbles .
I grew up in western PA in the 60s/70s. My dad and I watched their show on Friday nights. Dad would always go upstairs to use the bathroom and then turn off the lights and scare me. Lots of good memories watching those movies and the comedy clips. I remember Rod Stewart’s Maggie May played, perhaps as an intro song, definitely remember the Peggy Lee song at the end that was ended as if power was lost. Great memories.
this was better than 99% of what is coming out of Hollywood in movies and TV, and yes, I know it is a spoof of Steve Austin the Six-Million-dollar man.
Hoolihan and Big Chuck's show in the seventies was a great way for me to unwind from a week of school and start the weekend, but I moved to Florida a year before Hoolihan did. Wouldn't that be great to have DVDs of their skits and banter during movie breaks? The sound effects and dialogue clips from old movies were great punctuation to their jokes (especially the bad ones!) Holy mackeral, Andy!!
Hoolihan and Big Chuck Show was the Best! I loved their skits and humour! Then there was Supervisor and The Gool Show....think I spelled it wrong. But people from my generation and Ohio will understand. The good old days♥♥♥
i remember watching the last Episode with Hoolihan before he moved to Florida. I was so sad -- and was rooting for Art Lefredo to replace himme as I never liked Little John -- but John worked out pretty good. -- Side Note -- I met Big Chuck when I was a kidin Strongsville. He had his family (kids around my age) and was just enjoying the park.. He talked with me a few minutes. He was super cool.
This is a true classic, even though regional it represents an era of Six Million Dollar Man fans. Usually they only show Big Chuck and Lil' John on only same certain Hoolihan ones, thanks for this as haven't seen it since a kid and when Hoolihan and Big Chuck did their last visit/hosting of a haunted house at Halloween back in the 70s.
Hi from cleveland's ONLY and first female host. These guys and lil john were my biggest influence frm childhood, 1976-2007. My show is for them. X missX
My childhood! :*D I sincerely wanted to marry Houlihan when I was little. I recall about a yr after he left, Big Chuck & Lil' Jon had a charity softball game that my Mom & Dad took me to. A joke softball was pitched that blew up into powder when it was hit. It was announced that Houlihan had sent it special for the game. No idea if he really did or not but oh! The memories!
loved ghoulardi ..... loved hoolihan and big chuck ...... didn't like very much from big chuck and little john ..... being little is only funny for so long ...... and little john acted basically the same in every skit (yelled a lot .... loud) ....... little john's funniest skit was when he was a produce manager at a grocery store ......(you know ..... "a half a head of lettuce") ..... ohhhhh and "troglodyte" ..... ohhhh and "certain ethic snowblower" ...... there are a few more, i'm sure .... but ghoulardi and hoolihan and big chuck were by far ..... THE BEST!
Big Chuck was Polish. Big Chuck made fun of Polish people mercilessly. Big Chuck thereby helped rid the US of all anti-Polish prejudice forever. All Hail to Big Chuck, and to self-deprecating humor!
certain ethnic country ..... lol .......... sooooo funny ...... who is that other scientist with art lefredo? ...... thanks guys for makin' life a LOT FUNNIER!
I used to watch big Chuck and little John a kid with my dad and brother. They had the WORST movies (I know mystery science theater 3000 covered a few of them)! LOL!
