I've a model FH50050 Spin Scrub that was not having solution come out of the upholstery nozzle. After going through the entire machine, I found the cause was a blown time delay, slow blow T3.15 amp fuse located in the handle portion of the unit which the schematic doesn't make apparent. That fuse governs the solenoid for the nozzle function. The parts diagram shows the wiring harness as a complete unit implying it must be purchased in its entirety rather than just replacing the fuse. I opted for the fuse and it functions now as intended.
Hi Sand! Very sorry for the late response. Nice job finding the issue and not taking the BS that some parts people throw at you and getting it fixed. The only time that I had an issue with the fluid not coming out of the upholstery wand turned out to be a different issue than yours. Mine was just a clogged nozzle on the wand and taking the fluid tube loose and running a wire through the nozzle did the trick for my issue. Nice job and keep on Fixin!
If you still got this machine, I have a link that you can buy a motor for this machine if you have it still. Much more cheaper than buying a new one lol
Hello. Thank you for that. No matter how many times I repair something sometimes the Mrs. still wants a new one. I bought a newer model but they have issues as well. New video coming out soon.
Thanks. Sorry for the delay in response. Agreed. I am working to get better equipment for improved videos. Landscape view would be much better. Thanks for watching.
@@whatthefox4274 Very nice. I would love to see your video of this if you have one. Mine pretty much always sounded like this so I just left it. How much better does it sound?
Hi Eli. Can you send me a picture of the latch that you are talking about? I'll try to help the best I can. Sorry for the late response to this message.
@@eliglenn7644 Hi Eli. It looks like it just snaps out and what holds it in is a plastic tab. I haven't changed one of those but if you carefully pry up around the base of the release handle with a large flat head screwdriver it should pop off. Here is a link to the new part. www.ereplacementparts.com/tank-release-latchright-magnsm-gray-p-549263.html. I hope this helps. Let me know how it goes.
If lightly prying up on the handle doesn't work take off the top cover of the cleaner and you should be able to see the catch that holds the handle in place. You should be able to pop the catch loose and the new one should just snap into place.
