I have a 2004 Chevy Express 3500, horn not working but thanks to you it is now. Always a pleasure when a professional like yourself takes the time out to make a detailed video on how to fix things. I took the front assembly apart, blew out the inside and stretched the spring a little bit on the red wires, put it back together and it works perfect. Auto shop probably would have charged me a few hundred. Thank you…

Watched this today and after checking power, popped horn cover off and sand contacts and within 30 minutes had a working horn. Saved me 100 -200 probably. Thanks. watch your present videos too!

The best video! One recommendation, after cleaning the contacts, put some silicon grease (dielectric grease) on all those contacts to prevent further corrosion. The grease does not prevent electrical contact, it just keeps air away when the contacts arc. The same procedure applies to all electrical connections as well as signal light and parking light bulbs.

Great instructional video but what about us novices? What tool did you use to diagnose this problem and how were you applying power to the relay connections? I have a 2013 Chevy Tahoe SSV. Iit had the horn disabled and I need to find the disable location or at least create a bypass.

The tool i used is: POWER PROBE: amzn.to/2MkHfVe *POWER PROBE FULL KIT: amzn.to/2y57qMC Truly amazing tool to have and so useful. Im sure there are a few good videos on youtube on how to use them. Awesome man, i appreciate the channel support! Unfortunately I'm not to incredibly familiar with the setup on those. I work on all makes and models, so I never become extremely familiar with one model. I'm sure that if you start tearing into the steering column, it should be pretty straightforward to replace the multifunction switch. Worst-case you might have to pull off the steering wheel. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Let me know how you make out, and thanks again!
