HORRIBLE Day of Fishing Turned into the BEST Day Ever

Brought out a GRILL, coals, tacos for four people expecting to catch anything and everything. As fate would have it, we ended up with NOTHING to start off the day. After a regrouping and reassessment two of us split and two of us continued. David and I tried and new spot and the bite was ON FIRE! 9 Fish in a couple hours and we did the catch and cook like we originally wanted to.

Just wanted to thank you for your channel. You are one of the reason with the pressure of my son we have started a RU-vid channel. Sometimes I feel I am to old to do this but..... But I love your channel and your video content. We just went out and got a drone. I love how you incorporate the drone. So we will be adding that too. I love the way your editing but I think the less edited videos are great too!! No need to tire yourself and delay uploads with that extra casey neistant editing... I don't know much about knots or fish only a few about what I learned back in high school which was several years ago, but I really enjoy your videos and fishing as well, something I used to do as a child n find really relaxing also something I want to get back into. What would you recommend for catfishing n bass as a lake nearby has both. Dont have any equipment just a tackle box with some stuff that's more than 10 years old. Just wanted to know you're opinion on what kind of things I should get like a rod n string as well as lures cuz I dont have any but just want something to get that proves somewhat successful whenever I do go fishing, cuz I plan to or rather want to within the next couple of months.

Medium-heavy rod If you're just starting, an Ugly stick is good. If you're going for catfish get bait hooks and weights, for bass get artificials such as swimbaits, popper or rattletraps. For line get braid for bass and Monofilament for catfish. Get back into fishing man it's insanely fun. Good luck.

I think, that he thought, someone might complain about him not letting nature take its course.
