@@GabrielCoimbra17 Silverwing didnt try to kill Rheana though. That was Seasmoke. Rheana just isn't cut out for adult dragons. Maybe she should try young hatchling or smthn.
@@GabrielCoimbra17silverwing was known for being the friendliest most peaceful dragon. She seemed to enjoy the company of the dragon handlers and her rider more then any other dragon. And she never killed those who tried to bond with her who she deemed unworthy of her service, she would always just let out a roar and scare them away, unlike other dragons who would usually eat or burn those who tried to bond to it that it did not care for.
Silverwing is a bit chilidsh and silly, she was just showing off to her mom Vhagar... "Nyahhhhh mom, I got a rider now, pbbtttthhtththh!!!" before she ran back home to her boyfriend Vermithor and friends.
Damn the CGI for the dragons in this episode looked incredible. Vermithor and Silvering are definitely my favorite dragon designs right now and the kid that plays Oscar Tully is absolutely fantastic.
Not only the looks, but Vermithors growls, sound incredible. It clears all the other dragons. I am hoping that we get to see the cannibal. I know he is inclaimable, but I would love to see how he would look.
Lmao the problem fans are having. Is they’re not telling the story though. The story is already written for them and yet they’re changing so much and giving us unnecessary stories.
I appreciate what you said to start the video. There are so many people complaining about story building episodes and just want to see Dragons tear each other apart.
Thank you! Thank you for expressing exactly how I felt. everyone calm down, and enjoy the epic. Reading has gone by the wayside and with it patience for the unfolding of an epic story!
I love how Rheanyera pulled up like Captain America on Thanos. I thought she was bout to say, Avengers Assemble! Aemond immediately hit the back button! 😂😂
The bar not letting Ulf punk out tho☠️☠️☠️☠️ He said, but my knee!! They said nahhh cuz. Drinking on everybody tab and talkin cash shit🤣🤣🤣 You gotta Go Fam
Vermithor to Rhaenyra : So you mean I don't have to go get dinner..? Silverwing to Ulf : Heyyy whassap man, wanna be my rider..? oh and don't worry about the eggs
Oscar Tully and Ser Simon have become 2 of my favorite characters. Ser Simon is so damn patient with Daemon. I hope Rhaena claims the wild dragon in the Vale. This was an excellent episode. 10/10. Btw y'all are right. So many people complaining about slower episodes are ridiculous. That's character building and world building and drawing the battle lines. People need to get a grip.
The people complaining about the pacing are actually insane. This season has been well-structured and well-paced. It moves faster than any of the first 5 seasons of GoT. Every episode is an event!
Agreed! People forget how slow the beginning of got was.. they complain about how rushed the end of got was and now they're wanting hotd to rush things.. doesn't make sense. I'd much rather have 4-5 seasons like this than 2-3 seasons of non stop battles with no character depth
I'm shocked to hear that's a thing how can you be a fan of Game of thrones universe and want things to be fast paced? got was known for going extremely slowly and being mostly people talking in rooms that's why we loved it. the action scenes in big moments were made even more special by being rare and spread out. you cannot have a red wedding every other episode and have the same impact.
Jace made some points. But it was him who came up with the idea in the first place. But I think that Rhaenyra needs to bring him in on some of these counseling sessions with Mysaria. He need to meet his new stepmom anyway.
I found this channel a couple of months ago and have enjoyed it. A couple of weeks ago I binged your GOT and Peacemaker videos. Your takes are fun and mostly on point!! Thanks!
yep, he is probably one of the 3 bastards that come during the great council, or maybe even before that, but he is for sure Saera's son. tamin his grand-father's dragon
Rhaenyra: "That's it, cram in there. There's still some room over there for a few more people. Good. Stay in range of the dragon while our first volunteer gives it his best. Got schedules to maintain."
To line it up, it's 3 dragons to potentially 8 Greens: - Aemond and Vyghar - Daeron and his newly flying dragon (forgot the name) - Haleana and Dreamfyre Blacks: - Rhaenera and Syrax - Daemon and Caraxes - Jace and Vermax - Hugh and Verimithor - Ulf and Silverwing - Addam and Seasmoke - Baela and Moondancer - Rhaena and the dragon in Aryyn?? maybe??
Fr. People gotta stop btchin about heads not rolling every episode and therefore call it "boring." This is the GoT universe. It isn't known for action like John Wick or The Raid. It's known for its quality writing and acting (at least the earlier GoT era, writing wise). It's not without its minor flaws, but HoTD is doing just fine imo.
attention span of a seabass LOL. agree with your point on people thinking its a crappy, "slow" season. i mean have they watched GOT? that shit was SLOW in the beginning, but it needed to build to get you immersed in the story. the writing in this season has been top notch.
Hugh is Seara Targaryen's Son, She is King Jahaerys daughter, Legitimate Targaryen Princess. However King Jaharys disowned her because she enjoyed the Brothel's pleasures.
the wild dragon thats in the vale is 1 of 3 known wild dragons and if its the dragon i think it is then its gonna be so cool seeing it live action. one of my favourite looking dragons based off what my mind conjured up from the books
This is the reason why I watched your reaction. Drew gets it so as Joe the show doesn't have to be dragons fighting or somebody being killed all the time to be fun to watch. Drew always got a point and Joe is good at noticing things. that's sad that all those people had to die but they knew the risk it's like gambling and it's the sacrifice Rhaenyra is willing to make to have some equality to fight the war with the greens that means a chance to win the war. you guys get it. p.s. I like it when I can see a bit of your cat in the video. 😻
Sure but what else can he possibly do? You want book version? sure, let's remove daemon after episode 2-3 and bring him back right in the time for episode 7-8.
Hugh's mom was Daemon/Big V's aunt while Ulf's dad was Daemon and Big V's uncle. they're one gen up and one branch over on the family tree which makes them Rhaenera's either first cousins or cousins once removed
Hugh mother was Saera Targaryen. Jaehaerys.. I think.. youngest daughter but wild as heck and was banished for it. Side note that is her father's dragon so her son is now his dragon new rider. 😊 and yeah I think Ulf said Baelon Targaryen was his dad so he is Rhaenyra's uncle. Can I add that was a crap load of bastards. That family was getting busy!!!
People forget that up until the Red wedding, the show had some major violence but nothing different than any other HBO made show at the time. The first two seasons were entirely set up, with a majority of the episodes being exposition based, moving the plot foreword.
Hi Guys! I really really enjoy your content! I'll be subscribing to the Patreon very soon! Thanks for being such great reactors AND discussion holders too!
Ulf reminds me of the first time i rode a roller coaster. I thoroughly enjoyed this episode and Ulf brought a little comedy to it. I actually smiled for the first time this season. Last episode will be sad because we only have that left before we have to wait probably 2 years for next season.
Now that Daemons been trippin at Harrenhall for 6 episodes 🤦♀️ it kinda makes me wish they left out one of those episodes and instead gave us a little more time with Cregan Stark in Winterfell back at the beginning. In the books, Jace hung out there for a while and they bonded like brothers. Its really important to establish that so the ending makes more sense....unless theyre planning on changing the ending.
Oscar Tully giving me Lyanna Mormont vibes and I am here for it. Protect him at all cost!!! However, if he has to go out at least give him an epic death like Lyanna taking down the giant.
People are literally complaining that HOTD is not doing what GoT did in season 7 and 8. First people complained that the last two seasons of GoT was rushed and the the writers prioritized spectacle over drama. Now people or complaining that there is to much character building and not enough dragons fighting.
0:46 Thank you! It can't be a battle every episode and dragons dropping here and there. The entire section of HotD (in the book) only takes about 6 hours to read, so they need to play it out and create some things that aren't explained in more than a few sentences in the book. I think they're doing OK.
i understand that shows have to see stuff up, but something about the last 3 episodes were extra boring. maybe it’s because i was getting bored/annoyed of the haunted house with daemon hahaha i loved this episode though!
I liked the dragon claiming, but not alicent literally walking around in a forest, this season still slow, i saw a comparison that said season one covered 70+ pages of events in the book and season two 20 pages so far ( by alt shift x) AND IT FEELS LIKE IT, season one was more dynamic
Attention span of a Sea Bass 🤣 - some peeps just cant deal with actual storytelling and taking a chill ride, everything is just blood and guts with them, if you dont have a story and nothing but action all the time, it does not pay off when it does hit the fan. Its a drama as much as it is an action fantasy. Ulf Dragon was just - take a pew my dude.
The guy in the blue is hilarious. He was like holding his throat hold his mouth.Hold his hands where you all know the hand you're a militant like me.He's over there like what he's looking at you like what
When I was picking out my Rottweiler puppy, one of them growled at me. She ended up being the one I picked. I like to think that's similar to why Vermithor picked Hugh
As a child, the best part of playing army men was setting up for battle and strategically placing all of the pieces. The actual battle was over quickly and stupid. I love the story telling and preparation of the huge war to come.
thank you for the rant in the beginning. ppl shitted on GOT when they gave them a spectacle last couple seasons and said there wasnt enough drama😂 now they flood yall with drama and its slow😂 shits been amazing the talk scenes alone are battle scenes ppl just basic af
exactly. the original game of thrones was slow as shit in the first couple seasons then ass as shit towards the last couple seasons lol there were a lot of great moments but there were also a lot of horrible moments. house of the dragon funny enough is leaning towards the better series imo.
The issue people have with the pacing is that there aren’t a lot of episodes per season with a 2 year wait in between seasons and the showrunners decided to spent the majority of the runtime of each episode on characters that don’t do much while other characters have their contributions either given to other characters that the showrunners prefer or excluded from the story entirely. Its mainly a lot of the showrunner’s changes from the book not being liked by book fans
The reasons why people are complaining is because the charcters aren't that interesting and especially the side characters like in Rhaenyra's great council, barely anyone of them have any character to them. The dialogue has been weak the last few episodes and it's mainly exposition, the characters have barely any levity to them. These are only some of them and there are plenty more. The fans want it to be better and have concerns since what happened to GoT, if a show has flaws and can be better, people should be allowed to voice those concerns.
