I like that they're not making Aegon just another Joffrey. Showing things like his love for his son, and him at least TRYING to help the smallfolk (even if it's more to make them like him) are good for humanizing him just a little. He's still a selfish prick, but he's not a sadistic monster like Joffrey.

14:20 this scene is heartbreaking, seeing the hurt on Rhaenyra's face when she discovers that solitary dragon wing. That lady is an exceptional actress.

I don't think Helena gave up her son I think she had them kill her daughter instead because of the look she gave the man that held her at knife point and the way he reacted..I don't know something just feels off about it but that could just be me. I never read the books so I don't know what to expect but still Helena didn't deserve that.
