I'm worried about the writing for season 2. 😩 They better not be making The Blacks look even worse than they are in the books... just so that the Greens don't look so awful. Cuz they pulled that exact kind of sh*t in season 1, and it pissed me OFF. For example, they had Daemon killing his 1st wife... something he *DOES NOT DO* in the book. He's still fighting out at the Stepstones when his wife dies in the novel. He ain't anywhere near that woman! But the show had him killing her in cold blood! The show also had Daemon seducing Rhaenyra when she was only 15yrs old, but in the book, that was only a vile RUMOR, and there was never ANY proof that something like that actually happened. But now, thanks to the show... Daemon will forever be marked as a scummy man, who tried to f*ck his niece while she was still underage. Thanks a lot, showrunners. 😒🗑 #trash I also hated how they had Rhaenys come bursting up through the coliseum floor, all so they could have some "big spectacle" scene. Like, I get that the scene looked cool... but it also made her responsible for killing dozens of peasants, and probably injuring dozens more! And again, this is something that NEVER happens in the book. Yes she escapes... but she doesnt kill anybody to get out! But the worst thing they did was show Aemon One-Eye killing Lucerys "on accident". 🤦🏻‍♀️🙄 WTF?! Nah, he did all that sh*t on purpose in the book! He even went back home & BRAGGED about killing that boy... cuz he's a total psychopath! And Alicent doesn't defend Rhaenyra or her children when the council suggests killing them all, either. That heaux is a wicked, bitter woman who is fully on board w/killing ALL of them, as long as it means her drunk, rapey, unhinged son gets to sit on the throne instead. She is an AWFUL woman ya'll... but they gave her sooo much grace in the show, its pathetic. I'm telling ya'll, the show really BENT OVER BACKWARDS to make The Blacks look "equally awful" as The Greens... all so that the fandom could have "fun" choosing their favorite sides in the war. But in the novel, there is NO question that The Greens are disgusting, greedy userpers, who don't care what happens to the realm as long as they can have power! Rhaenyra & her children are very good people... and don't deserve any of the betrayals that they suffer. Alicent even leaves poor Vicery's body to ROT in the castle for days after he dies, so that they can keep his death a secret while they go searching for Aegon, to plot & scheme a way for him to take the throne away from Rhaenyra. Alicent doesn't give AF about the oaths everybody swore to her late husband! AS SOON AS Vicerys dies, she locks up all the servants & anybody who could tell people about his death, closes up the castle, and then they kill EVERY noble there who refused to bend the knee to Aegon. All while Vicerys is lying there rotting away. The show better tell the TRUTH about The Greens! I'm tired of these showrunners writing their OWN fan fiction, instead of properly adapting the written work like they are supposed to be doing. They better quit playing w/Team Black! Fire & Blood 😤🖤🐉🔥🔥🔥
