Siro is still often seen on television, even if she doesn't have many online subscribers. Another virtual idol group, 22/7, left vtubing but they have their own variety talk show. I think there are still traditional paths of success for virtual talents.

Sora the pillar of hololive, the one who started it all, and also I feel like she's underappreciated by us overseas viewers. Yes, true fubuki is a pillar in hololive and said that if hololive went a way she didn't like, she would leave. But sora is the original like imgaine. If the 1st or original person left on bad terms with an agency, it wouldn't look well for the agency. Sora is so highly respected by her peers that they act totally different when with sora. Even subaru said she was nervous, collabing with sora.

I wonder if this is why while the other 4 kings fell out, Siro is still able to generate ok numbers, not mind blowing numbers, but ok numbers still, and seems to be slowly rising back up; because maybe those fans that one day discovered Hololive and Sora thanks to her, never forgot her. P.S. She needs more overseas collabs, I honestly think her talent really shines through when she's interacting with an international audience, if you need evidence watch her among us stream with Kizuna Ai and the VShojo girls where she used the fact that she was the only one who could understand both Japanese and English to really dominate the room.

A kindness one would expect from one of the 4 Heavenly Kings I was there back then, in fact that was my first approach to Holo, just out of curiosity to why Siro was recommending her. As you said in the video, it's a bit sad that they couldn't keep the pace as the industry keeps growing, but we must not forget those whom make a path in the back then unknown lands

While I've been subscribed to Siro since July 2019, I've been a subscriber to Sora since Nov. 2018. The way I "discovered" Sora or at least the timeline I subscribed was through this: Kizuna AI (2017) ~ Yua Fujisaki (2018) ~ Game Club Project ~ Natsumi Moe ~ [Literally every Eilene's VTuber family channel including Mirai Akari ~ Kaguya Luna ~ YuNi ~ Aoi Fuji ~ then Sora herself]. The brackets indicates that it happened within the same day. Although I think I already heard, saw, or watched Sora earlier than Nov '18. The same goes with Siro. I'm just happy that she is still recognized or mentioned by someone out there~

Butterfly Effect is really scary and interesting if we are talking in hindsight. Unfortunately, us humans can only reminisce the past, enjoy our present, but blind to our future. The only thing we can do is forge ahead, take things a step at a time, draw our limits and boundaries and most important of all, not take for granted all the little happiness we come across. Our world is a dot in the whole expanse of the universe, and we are just a small part of it. But just as particles affect the mass, our decisions ironically have a significance for whole. So we need to deliberate very well and not be too careless regarding our choices. We humans will never truly know the power of one's choice until it is too late.

I've only seen Siro in one of Felix's (Pewds') videos from back in the day, in a clip where she'd play Minecraft, be spooked by a noclipping sheep, and accidentally lose said sheep to a wild wolf. It was a funny and cute clip, but I had no idea this v-tuber was so instrumental to Hololive!

Thanks for making this video. I really enjoy Sora's streams, and I'm glad to know a bit more about Siro's role in her life. Hopefully we as fans can do our own small part to give her her own boost as thanks.

tbh i kinda miss the 2017, those are the age of moe, there are tons of anime clippers and the golden age of the dai senpai vtubers, i watch all of these vtubers in the past, tho i only know sora in 2018 and just watch a few of her videos and streams because im into yomemi and moemi before, now its the golden age of vtubers, vtubers exploded internationally everywhere, like i watch 1 clip of vtuber then it led me to another clip of that vtuber collabing with another

Siro is a amazing VTuber, even if numbers aren't as big now. Didn't know she saved Sora in sense. Siro at the time is to me the cute anime girl sample of one that enjoys some intense that. (Especially FPS), and a friend of mine likes thay. I still have Siro's can badge from Tokyo Otaku Mode.

As much as i like your other content, those history videos are definitely your best stuff, even if it might draw less views than other stuff. Big Thumbs up, Vtuber Historian!

This might be my favourite kind of video from DN. Despite being a VTuber fan for two years running, give or take, there's so much interesting stuff that happened before that which shaped the landscape and that you don't really hear anyone talk about anymore

I followed Siro quite a bit back in 2019, but I didn’t know about her link to hololive. I was brought to her through collabs she had with the indie vtuber Rin Asobi and the anime youtuber Noble from Lost Pause

Great video and what I love about Sora is that she has never changed since the beginning. She is still seiso and she is still humble. I would love to see you do a video on how Mito made an impact in the vtuber scene. She's the dai senpai of nijisanji and she changed the vtuber game. Also a video on Tamaki would be awesome. More history about vtubing is awesome, because without the og senpais there wouldn't be this crazy and wholesome entertainment that we have now.
