I’ve just started- had a complete diet overhaul and became unintentionally ‘paleo-based’ I’m unsure if I will stick to being fully paleo based or start having grains again, I just did what felt right for me and my stomach this week. I always wondered what you were talking about when you say you're eating pumpkin. You are right, we call it butternut squash. The only thing we call pumpkins are those Halloween pumpkins we use to make jack o lanterns and pumpkin pie! 🎃 I thought you have been eating those this whole time, which I thought was pretty weird! 😂
I'm in the same boat. Part of me thought it had to be butternut squash and part of me was thinking maybe butternut pumpkin was some sort of special veggie that is popular in Australia. lol, so glad I was not alone in my confusion.
i've been paleo for 23 days now and I have seen a drastic change in my waist!!! I was healthy before but not happy yet with my body and who knew that cutting dairy and grains would get me the results I've been wanting.

allaboutbrie it's all about balance and fruit and nut mix is full of healthy fats and natural sugars. As long as it is replacing the processed sugar in your diet, and you are not eating it as well as cake/ice cream/sweets then it shouldn't impede your weight loss. I find that it actually helps me feel full because of all the protein and fibre! :)

Since you get a lot of fresh foods, do you go grocery shopping every few days? I was so use to going every other week but now that I incorporate a lot of fresh foods, I feel like I'm going to the store every 4 days. I don't know if that's normal lol.

I really liked your vlog but I'm really jealous that you live in Australia. I live in Germany and our grocery stores don't have that much healthy stuff. Especially now in winter it's hard to get vegetables that actually don't taste like paper.
I had almost two full days of Sezzy like eating and I felt amazing and light and I swear I felt leaner (even though I know that's not enough time to actually lose weight)But then I lost to peer pressure and had some bread with my family and I feel so sick and like there's a rock in my stomach. Gonna endeavour to have more Sezzy-style meals this week.Also dug out my workout dvds that were collecting dust. I feel too self concious to go to the gym but want to do better for my body instead of only doing running. Clearly what I've been doing isn't working so it's time for something new!

When you get coffee in a cafe does the almond milk have added sugar? I'm trying to convert to almond milk for my coffee but all the coffee shops use an almond milk that's not unsweetened :(
Your grocery haul made me feel so so much better about how much I spend on (healthy) groceries. I go to Costco and usually just get fruits veggies oats chia maybe some meat and spend heaps but it's good to know I'm not the only one! Thank you for being honest about what you spend. 👍
