HOW I LOST 25LBS IN 3 MONTHS & KEPT IT OFF BY WALKING: Weight Loss Tip, Losing FAT, boost metabolism
My in depth treadmill routine: • My TREADMILL ROUTINE: ...
the most vulnerable video I have ever posted
Here is my entire journey, my tips, growth and more. I grew a lot middle to end of 2021 physically, mentally, and more. I lost 15 lbs, I am happier and healthier. I uncovered disorderly eating and unhealthy habits and am working on repairing them still and always will. Body image will always be a struggle but I have learned to appreciate myself more than ever before. I have a different outlook on health, exercise, food and my body overall. Nobody needs to look a certain way but if you are struggling and want to make change like I did, if I can do it, you can do it.
Big shout out to Lauren Giraldo for changing my life with her 12 3 30 workout
Main Workout (Lauren Giraldo’s):
12 3 30 Treadmill workout
12 incline, 3 speed, 30 minutes. Increase the speed, incline, and time as it gets easier and do a long cool down walk.

Yes! Who would’ve thought that not eating much with multiple workouts a day would ever be considered “bad.” We’re so conditioned to think that if we “sneak” in extra calories on a low calorie day to make us feel satisfied, then that’s going off-plan and therefore bad for us. Really that’s a good thing; listening to your body that your body needed more fuel.
@gianna526
@gianna526 Год назад
@@annt7384 Yep. Going a little bit over your calorie defecit is ok. You don't want to be doing that every day, but you shouldn't feel guilty if you want a little something extra, so long as you keep it under control.

@@gianna526 My take-always from her video are to find good foods that you enjoy and eat sustainable amounts rather than low calorie days that are not sustainable. If you have to snack throughout the day, then maybe you’re not eating enough. That was a huge aha moment for me.

My favorite weight loss video too. It should have way more views. I think it hits so hard and true because she focused heavily on the mental transformation that has to happen to fix the root cause of weight gain. No diet or exercise regimen will do that and no changes will stick unless you change your thinking. She learned to make healthy eating and exercise a habit, learned that healthy fuel = more energy and feeling better, developed a satisfaction in an exercise regimen separate from trying to "undo" caloric intake, learned her body's caloric boundaries and needs, stayed mindful about avoiding ED habits, uncoupled society's fixation on (wrongly!) assigning moral good vs. bad labels to foods, balanced finding pleasure in eating while not taking it too far, and with her vacation learned you can just get back to the progrm after "splurging". Excellent video and perfect for where I'm at in my journey.

For anyone just starting working out and eating healthy/less… IT TAKES TIME TO GET USED TO IT!! don’t be hard on yourself if you can’t do extreme workouts right away, your body isn’t used to it yet! don’t be hard on yourself if you can’t eat perfectly on the first day, your body needs to adjust to the change. It’s a process and you have to just be patient and stay consistent. The first couple weeks or even just the first week is the hardest. I went for a 9km walk the other day after months of not working out and eating like shit, I had to get my boyfriend to pick me up because I felt like I was going to faint. In reality I shouldn’t have thrown myself into a long walk like that right away. Be graceful with yourself srsly.
@raqui174
@raqui174 2 года назад
Exactly! It’s ok to start out small..I use to think that I had to throw myself into extreme work outs but all that did was demotivate me. I started at out small just walking and slowly increased to running at a low pace. It’s best to start out small but we often think we need to do major things in order to change but it’s the small things that actually cause a change

Oooph same here. I think this was the norm during covid. I honestly just didn't have the pressure of needing to go anywhere so kept ordering food. I really just need to focus now on regular workouts, adding more veggies and fruit and getting more water and just try to make better decisions because I'm sick of eating things based on what health blogs tell you to eat. Like everyone has been saying, I've watched MANY fitness videos and stories in the six years of my own fitness journey, but this is probably my favorite. Your transparency reflecting on yourself, thoroughly explaining it to us instead of brushing it off as "oh I had horrible habits" and the way you admit you were lying in clips at one point, how passionate you've become. Its easy to see you've managed to find the healthy clarity that truly unlocks obtainable fitness to everyday people, and that you want others to reach that as well. I know all of these things but struggle to apply them as I spent my first three years with an ED and have spent the past three recovering, so its inspiring to see someone else who struggles with body image and a strange relationship with food do it. I’ve gone through all the things you talked about in this video. And I’ve had eating disorders in my 20’s. Struggling with weight is truly something that will always be there, I feel, but as you stated, that you just need to learn how to manage it. I’ve been to points where I am so lean as a personal trainer and fitness instructor that I am satisfied with my body, to gaining it back due to life changes. I, too, gained my weight once COVID hit and gyms closed. It’s cyclical. Our bodies will change with age too, but you just have to keep learning what works as time changes. Thanks again. I’ve struggled for years with disordered eating and the mindset of burning off everything I eat. Since I had my third baby a year ago, I’ve gone back and forth between restricting and then bingeing. And I haven’t been consistent in the gym since before Covid. I have about 25 pounds to lose but I’m determined to do it in a healthy and sustainable way. I’m on day 6 of being consistent in the gym and I’m trying to have a healthier mindset with food. I feel like everything you were saying is what I’m going through and I really appreciate your perspective!

I love this girlfriend! 12 3 30 is one of the greatest things ever, I feel like it pushes you hard, but not too hard! Before I start the strength training part of my workout I like to start off with a 13 3 20! I just adapted it to something that works best for me and my workout, but the concept of 12 3 30 is so wonderful and truly causes such great results! I am so so glad that you have come to such a healthy place in your journey, that so uplifting!

What I really had to learn is, 1. It isn’t a a diet, it’s A LIFESTYLE 2. It’s not about cutting things out of life, it’s about replacing it! I LOVE snacks and treats! Trying to cut them out always ends with me doing welll, then falling off hard for a weekend or something of the sort. Replacing those bad foods with better options was great for me.

This was so refreshing. Your honesty and authenticity really spoke me. I’ve been on such a journey too and I found yours to be incredibly relatable. Thank you for sharing all of it. So often we only see highlights or even curated low points. I LOVE that you owned up to your mistakes or challenges along the way because that’s how we grow. Seeing the whole thing really confirmed for me that it’s OK to not know it all. We’re all just figuring it out as we go, hopefully in the healthiest way possible ✨

what i love about this is you did all of your workouts at home with youtube! i started my weight loss journey in dec 19 before covid, kept going and now at 50+ lbs lost, a lot of this resonates with me. if you’re someone reading this trying to lose weight on a calorie deficit you’d be surprised how much your body will respond if you actually eat!! eat whole foods eat often and drink water your body will thank you. also look into the concept of re-feed days. the occasional cheat day is good for you!! it replenishes the body to keep going strong.

I honestly love this, this is real content. I've been there, with not eating a lot to binge eating, feeling stuck at some point and start overdoing cardio to compensate what I ate, sometimes even been so skinny but still not abs or muscle definition and I'm sure a lot of people have been there too. I believe that learning from failure is key. The fact that you show the good and the bad is amazing, plus, the female body and the fluctuation of hormones and effects because of our menstrual cycle is another huge factor to why is a little more complex for women to lose or gain weight. So huge congrats to you girl, I love the energy here!

I love how you created this video of you going back & forth between present you and past you. I love how you were so raw & honest with how hard you were being on yourself. I’m sitting here feeling so bad about myself because I would restrict myself, think of certain foods as “bad” and talk myself into gross food to make it seem good.. I never watched someone as honest as you. This honestly changes my view of my body & self. I’m even harder on myself because I’m 3 months post partum and I cry looking at myself.
