When in my comment did I say NBA players just picked up the ability? I clearly stated that they have been in game situations for their entire careers, even outside of the NBA. I also stated that it would apply to high schoolers more because they obviously wouldn't have already been exposed to the basketball environments that guys in the NBA have already been in, like playing against other high level players, playing for great college coaches and things like that so they'd know what type of worth ethic they should have in practice. But another point is that every single practice doesn't need to be game speed. Was this comment non-generic enough for you?

whathappenedtothedon Yeah a lot of fans forget it’s their job...The practice itself might be 2 and a half but they could easily be at the facility for a good 8 hours and than still have to do off the court stuff (Endorsements, community work, errands etc.)

Most people would prefer this rather than working on a regular job regardless. 🤷🏿‍♂️

Yeah but 2.5 hours of an NBA practice is more strenuous than 2.5 hours at another job. And you can only do it for a few years with a much higher injury rate
