​@@qwethengoldrecoverythese are pogo pins not test pins. Pogo pins vary widely in yield and are also dangerous due to beryllium copper springs found in most pogo pins. Yields for pound to kilo are around .5 to 2 grams sometimes more, it varies on manufacturer and date made. Pogo pins are just fancy contacts, they connect boards, chips and anything else they deign it for. Older pogo pins are used as dials, a dialed turned changes the pogo pin to give a different output or range or frequency, test pins are soldered on boards, about half a inch tall and techs would hook up to the boards from several different test pins to find the piece of hardware that failed, a IC, tantalum or anything could be removed and replaced back in mid 80s to 60s

Is sodium carbonate Better than borax? I've seen some people use both in some instead

Unfortunately, there is a chance that the material is worn during use. This way the yield will be less.

Make sure it contains gold with tin chloride. If so, after dilution, the gold can be extracted with zinc dust or sodium metabisulphite.

If sludge and samples are correct, dry and perform a chemical test if it contains gold for visible signs.

It is used to test PCB panels, which wear out and are discarded, it is difficult to find in large quantities, but sometimes it is in stock, only unfortunately it is done many times in the trash.

This largely depends on the thickness of the coating.

@@peyotkecot1353 Choose the thickness in centimeters, measure the size of the surface, and multiply the 3 factors to get it in cubic centimeters. The density of gold is 19.3 g/cm3. So 1cm3 of gold weighs 19g. That way you can count.
