To accept immigrants, we need surplus resources. We have those, but in limited supply. This means only a small number of people can immigrate to Canada before the negative consequences become an issue. The people who are most effected by the negative consequences of immigration are the poor, the working class and new immigrants. I want to limit the number of immigrants and prioritize those most deserving and with the greatest desire to be Canadian, because I care about what happens after the immigrant gets here.

No foot of a new immigrant should step on the Canadian soil, until each and every natural-born Canadian is properly housed and fed!

The system needs to be simplified. I know a personal story about one phony that took 5 years to deport after she claimed refugee status. That is too long. I don't agree with these people picking and choosing a safe country. For example, the one from Africa who crossed illegally into Canada from the U.S. and got frostbite. He will probably end up deported but it will be a few years from now. That needs to be fixed.

@Canadian deportation is NOT the problem ... the problem is _where it starts_ --- *Canadian Asylum claimant Law* ... - which itself is not the root ... the *root problem is UN's **_Convention Relating to the Status of Refugees_* of which, Canada (& all the western world) is a signatory IF you do google it & read the Wikipedia page on this convention --- notice which *countries did NOT sign it*

How the hell as he a "refugee" from the States? Was the welfare not enough to suit his needs in the USA forcing him to take a perilous life-threatening journey to Canada? I can't believe people fall for this crap.

C D There was that one man who escaped from Ghana due to him supposedly being under attack and became a refugee in the U.S. Then he fled to Manitoba in the cold, thus getting frostbite on his hands
