Hi Tracy, I'm not sure if I'll get a response to this, but heck I'm gonna ask anyway :D. I am a software developer, and I found that there's an overlap of ANZSCO codes for my career. For instance, my job roles are a perfect fit for both Developer Programmer (261312) as well as Software Engineer (261313). This confuses the life outta me and I dunno which one to get assessed on. Would really appreciate your advice here. Thanks!

Hi, very informative post. My wife applied 491 visa. She got 70 points. She has a 9 years of experience as Sr. Software engineer, and she got btech degree in electronics and instrumentation. ACS has deducted her 6 years from her software experience. How come.. Please suggest what we can do for raising points. Regards, Hari

Hi Maam i m 42 yrs old , i m primary applicant (offshore), my husband is 46 yrs old , if my husband clears pte exam vill i get 5 points extra added in my points score as i m below 45 yrs or i will hv no advantage of my husband giving Pte exam as he has crossed 45yrs. Yes, you can get 5 points for your partner's visa, regardless his age.
