The longer you practice this process the more your adaptive subconscious will accept your new truth.... moving it from a conscious effort to a reflexive default. Interesting take, however i feel like you end up wasting some of your energy that gets projected into creating your alter ego which then constantly fights with your true self. For the long run I personally believe that it is healthier and more sustainable to work on becoming the person you sought to be, untill it becomes integrated into who you actually are so you can use all of your energy more efficiently.
