Casting in a pressure pot can reduce or eliminate the appearance of bubbles in an epoxy pour. They work by compressing air bubbles under pressure to the point where they are often invisible to the naked eye. Mix and pour your resin as you normally would, then place it down flat in the pressure pot. We recommend slowly pressurizing to 45-50PSI for TotalBoat epoxy systems. Once your epoxy is cured, you can release the pressure and remove your now crystal-clear casting. Does this pressure pot come with everything needed or would we need to buy a part (for example: a hose, electric motor) separately?

everything you need is included. Plug it in to your compressor and go (you would need a compressor but the pot has all the pieces)

Yes, until cured which depends on the epoxy you use.

Will it work the same way under a vacuum?

No a vacuum pulls out the air and a pressure pot adds pressure to squash bubbles.

How do you set the max psi on a pressure pot?

Check your specific pressure pot but on the ones sold by TotalBoat and in this video, it's the black knob that twists and is in line with the hose intake. that is where you control how much pressure the pot will hold.

How long does the item need to stay under pressure in order for the bubbles to be released? I know actual cure time will vary.

you would need to leave the project under pressure for the full cure time and release the pressure only once it is cured so the bubbles cannot return. Hope that helps!
