Great demo brotha! After doing the same as you I run some thinner in my gun and shoot till it empty’s just to clear up anything inside. Thanks for all the tips brotha!
Congradulations on reaching the 100k. And there was I thinking of starting out! Nice tutorial, well organised work space. The bit about the gloves, yes, from a H & S point of view correct. From a practicle view, cannot feel the tactile contact with my guns, which is needed and is SATAisfying....plus some gloves bunch up when thinners is used. Love your channel. If I do start my own channel, it has to be with the tools and maintenence of the equipment... Good practices must be adopted from day 1.
Great video buddy, speaking of gloves lol, I found yesterday it's not goo to paint with no shoes on, when I stared clearing the hood in my carport my feet were sticking to the floor, my feet were black from the wheels from over spray and then I went walked through the grass when I was cleaning out the gun, the only thing that could get it off was thinners and a metal sponge, tell ya what I'll be wearing shoes next time and wetting the floor down
I have a Sata Jet Bought in 1985 Have probably sprayed close to a couple thousand car's with It , have always kept it clean and has never had a rebuild kit It's so old the chrome is coming off But still sprays like new. Taking care of your equipment Will last a long time. Never loan out your gun I learned the hard way.
Can I ask for some help please, I've recently bought an Anest Iwata junior AZ4 HTE for spraying some motorbike parts and when I connect to the airline I have a leak coming from where the air flow adjuster screws into the body of the gun, i checked the tightness and the nut is fully wound in and not loose, is it usual to use some ptfe tape on the thread or should I send it back as being faulty, Any help on this would be very much appreciated
I don’t know if you have a video about what to do with left over paint??….Or we should always have random item to paint just in case we have some paint left-over??I don’t know if I write it ok😂Spanish is my first language.
Hey bro, do you have a video that shows the process of changing guns or changing cups or cleaning spray tips throughout the whole process of painting? for example after you spray the sealer and you're going to the base coat, do you switch guns completely or change cups. thanks man!!! great content!
A clean gun is a happy gun and keeps the spluttering away. I would have done some dialogue...ie guns where you cannot remove the air cap retaining clip.. as in Sata's or iwata's and iver exposure to paint solvents Could damage the seals.
